Correct. They went through a phase of not playing and during that time a few seasons ago Murray was pretty darn strong. The year they lost to Fort Campbell in the regional finals I believe they were the second best team in 2A. Last year they advanced further, but they were not as good. Even less as good this year.

Duncan has done well with the program. Whether you "HATE" them or not, it is good to have these older teams do well.

The Cards should win this game by a couple of TDs. Murray is too young and inexperienced to have a shot. They will try to control the tempo and play ball control which is what they should do. But I do not think they can stop Mayfield. It helped last week that the Graves County game was in windy conditions in stopping their aerial attack. They did move the ball at will against the Eagles. This was a close game last year. Murray is off to a solid start despite not having a lot of experience. How does Graves look through the first few weeks of the year?

Anyone else catch Calloway last week? I was impressed they came away with the victory at Caldwell. Though didn't one of the Caldwell players suffer an injury? I think Coach Lawson is a breath of fresh air for CCHS. I watched the Murray game on tv. Lake County was ok, nothing special. Murray has solid speed but inexperienced. Big up front.

Who wins the Crosstown Classic?

Yes, it is a painful score. Having seen them, Fulton City is that bad. They have lost by 51 points, 50, and 76 points in there games. All of which could have been a lot worse than what they were. Murray was not at full strength for the game. Having to play their backup QB and at a few other positions were not healthy.

If it is in the first half and Murray or whomever is able to recover onside kicks, there is absolutely no harm in doing so. Onside kicks are low percentage plays normally calculated beforehand. Maybe there was something Murray saw on film they could exploit, and they did so? The coach said it was not their intent to score that many points. The final score came about when a Fulton City player fumbled a kick return and a Murray player returned it for a score. I guess the JV player should have just taken a knee? Fulton City is not good at all.

There are very few names I see in this year's draft that I see ever making a big impact. Rubio is the one I feel most confident in. I am not on the Blake Griffin bandwagon.

Those are some good stats and it makes for an interesting debate. I belive Mason gets the nod however.
