There are a ton of places within walking distance from the arena, should be able to find just about any type of food you would like. I know that aren't looking for anything to drink, but I've had a blast before at Kilroy's Bar N' Grill. Its located on the block that is just in front of the arena. The food was pretty good, lots of TV's and a fun atmosphere. I'd bet it will be full of UK fans before the game.

There is actually 3 or 4 in the Indy area. I've only been to the one downtown. I had a pastrami sandwich and my wife had the honey buffalo wings. Both were very good.

I know it was just the Blue / White game, but I came away impressed. Lots of shooters on this team. Even Washington, Montgomery, and Travis hit a few either threes or from just inside the arch. Team looks to be very unselfish, already making the extra pass. The only flaw I saw was the defensive intensity could have been better, but I guess that might have been by design. I doubt Cal wants anyone getting hurt in an intrasquad scrimmage. ...

Not to mention that kids these days are all about their social media, follows, likes, retweets, etc. How much of that is from fanbases of certain colleges trying to encourage a kid to pick that particular school. If it is know that a top recruit is bypassing college for the G-League my bet is a lot of that goes away. I'd guess most people are like me, but the only reason I pay attention to things like the McDonalds All American Game is to...

Considering that more than likely it is the shoe companies that are paying the players and not the universities, wouldn't they prefer to keep the kids in college as opposed to the G-League. Doesn't it do Nike more good to Zion Williamson play on national TV every night for Duke or UK, than for him to play in front of nobody for the Maine Red Claws. Surly for the shoe companies it is just about exposure at that point in a players career.

It was meant as joke. I agree with you, I can't think of anybody actually leaving a team in basketball prior to the end of the season to prepare for the draft. Jared Vanderbilt could be an example, depending on who you choose to believe regarding whether he really was medically cleared to play or not. I think he only played the few games he did last year due to the pressure he received to play.

Just looked up the JBA. Interesting that LiAngelo Ball leads the league in scoring at 50 ppg, follow by LaMelo Ball with 40 ppg. One of the leagues rules must be that no one is allowed to play defense on Lavar's boys. :lol2:

I spent a week in Asheville back in July. Loved the area. My girls are about the same age as your son. We enjoyed driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway up to Mt. Mitchell. We we first went up to the summit it was foggy and you couldn't see much more than 100' or so. We went down a bit lower and hiked some trails for a couple of hours. Went back up to the top before we left and had a pretty decent view although it still wasn't completely...

Bama commonly has big name OOC opponents on their schedule: 2008 Clemson 2009 Virginia Teach 2010 Penn St. 2011 Penn St. 2012 Michigan 2013 Virginia Tech 2014 West Virginia 2015 Wisconsin

Over the last 5 seasons so far Oregon St. is 13 - 41 while UL is 35 - 23. Most reasonable people would have expected UL to better than most teams. Oregon St. hasn't show any reason to think that they would be decent.

Alabama really should try to play a more challenging schedule. I'd like to see them step up and schedule teams like Florida Atlantic, Miami (OH), Bowling Green, and Buffalo over the next couple of seasons. That would prove whether or not they belong in the CFP. But I'm sure Saben is just too scared.

While I realize that Ian Book has earned the starting job, the majority of the game it seemed like the Irish were having more success with QB runs than anything else. I wouldn't have minded seeing Wimbush get a series to see if he could do anything to jump start the Irish. That being said, it is doubtful that he could have been nearly as effective as Book was during the 4th quarter. In the grand scheme of things this will go down as a...

Arizona got lucky since DeAndre Ayton got paid as well. Now they can vacate that first round blowout loss to Buffalo in the tournament.

My youngest daughter is with a friend and her family in Gulf Shores. They are supposed to be leaving today at 5:00 P.M. Hopefully they are far enough away from the hurricane force winds that they will not have any issues getting home.

I make it a point to visit Red Lobster once or twice every time they have the endless shrimp promotion. It's gotten awkward a few times.

I got way behind on this one but finally finished season 2 last week. It was great. I'm really looking forward to the next season. For me this is one of the top 5 shows on tv right now.

Almost as amazing is the fact that last year he recorded 6 DNPs. Surely a coach as great as Saban knew what he had sitting on the bench.

That also pretty much describes season 4 of Justified with the Sheriff Shelby Parlow / Drew Thompson story line.

I've not yet watched last nights episode, but so far have really enjoyed this season. I think it's one of the top 3 shows currently on tv, maybe even my #1. I figure if we ever see Walter White it will only be briefly and at the end of the series.

There are always two sides to every story. It would be interesting to see what took place before the video began or to learn what occurred to cause this person to be fired to begin with.
