  1. Thanks for your good wishes. Classy post that represents a first-class program. Great game. Really big win for the Polar Bears. Pardon our pride...this year was due...a long time coming! Our boys are playing hard and working well together. That, plus talent, can bring on some wins. Good luck to Boyle County for the remainder of the season.
  2. I'm not sure. I am sure, however, that any reasons for not inviting St. Pat to the Christmas tournament were never malicious. No ill-intent would be meant toward Coach Hinson, his staff, his players, or anyone associated with the school. People are trying to turn it into that, but it just isn't true. Best of luck to both schools. I'm out!
  3. For the record: The high school AD's husband does not coach any sport on the high school level. He does not teach at the high school. He coaches middle school baseball and basketball (girls and boys). He also volunteers for flag football, coach pitch, t-ball, and little league....has for years. But, that's information for a different thread. I hope this is becoming clear. There sure is a lot of confusion out there! Glad I can help clear up some rumors. I guess when there isn't enough dirty laundry...people try to create it. Sad, but human nature at it's worst, unfortunately. Now...back to the thread. What are thoughts on Bracken deciding not to play St. Pat more than twice per year, if it can be helped? Any more thoughts on that subject? :thumb:
  4. I was confused as to if they were challenging his credentials or trying to state that the current AD has hired him for some coaching position. Pretty sure they both graduated from Georgetown, so I don't think he played for that nationally ranked team! LOL. No, if my sources are correct (and I think they are) he was a middle school coach at Scott County. He coached basketball and another sport or two there, not sure. He also coached boys basketball at Simons Middle before coming to BC. :thumb:
  5. What are you talking about? Her husband coaches middle school basketball and baseball. He was coaching at the middle school long before she got an AD position. You are cracking me up! He doesn't even have a high school job!! LOL. Seriously...these facts are easily found...just ask someone, heck, anyone in the school system and they will help you out with this. You guys start so much drama on here. I love it. Keep it up!
  6. Polar Bear Blue, you just stated two untrue comments. Talk to Rodney Massey or Jamey Johnson, to get your facts straight. Deming passed on the tournament because they didn't want to play Bracken, Augusta, or St. Pat for a 3rd time. Why would you post something on here that is nowhere near the actual facts? Guess it does provide some drama, though! Your drama-filled posts, no matter how untrue they are, give us some entertainment. Kinda like a local "National Enquirer" right here online!!:popcorn:
  7. I usually remain quiet, but this one caught my attention. I did some checking and found out that each school in the 39th district was issued 100 passes. One simple email provided the distribution of passes at BCHS. It was not a secret, but in fact, emailed to ball coaches and cheer coaches, at the very least, maybe more. Boys Basketball: 15 players, 3 coaches, stats, book, manager, bus driver Girls Basketball: 15 players, 3 coaches, stats, book, manager, bus driver Cheerleaders: 19, 2 coaches, 1 bus driver Announcer, Clock worker (worked boys and girls games at home) Band: 14, 1 bus driver Central Office Admin: 3 passes High School Admin: 3 passes Site Base members :5 Board Members: 5 1 HS Bookkeeper Simple email is all it took to get the information requested. This thread has turned into something quite different, though. I don't think you really wanted the info, just wanted to bash your AD, whether info was accurate or not. Sad. Bracken County doesn't need outside enemies, it looks like to me. There are plenty to destroy it from within. That's the real sad part for the kids.
