Just received text that Bullitt East is now in a 7th region district with Fern Creek, Whitfield Academy, and Jeffersontown... Really surprised that for the first time the Bullitt Co. schools are broken up within the district.

Correction regarding statement of Bullitt East loss... The Chargers defeated Bardstown (top 10 Class 2A) at North Hardin Saturday night 27-14. Injuries dogged the team last year. Expect them to be contenders in a balanced 4A region.

Major upset in 6th Region... #2 ranked PRP (Yochum starting pitcher) fell behind then tied in 6th.. Eagles behind starter Montgomery held a potent offense in check and added the winning run in the 7th.

Josh Whitmer bases loaded single with 1 out in bottom of 8th wins it for East. Matt Bowles (6-1) winning pitcher.

Rain in Central Kentucky has tentatively pushed back the start time of Game 2 in this series to 8:00pm tonight. However, a 5:00pm conference today will determine whether to delay the start to midday tommorrow. Should we have a washout today, plans are in place to finish the series on Friday with an earlier start due to possibility of two games.
