  1. Why weren't these people smart enough to consult all the BGP folks beforehand and this tournament would be run like a perfectly timed swiss watch. I think the crying about everything is getting old. IT IS ABOUT THE KIDS!!
  2. Sounded great to me!! Check it out on archive at sportsjuice.com, and listen again. Hard to hear if you are at the game and listening on the internet at the same time. Maybe you can get your buddy's doing the CovCath games to broadcast all the games if you don't care for the alternatives. I appreciate EVERYBODY that is taking their time to broadcast the games.
  3. I think everything is improving nightly at the BOK. Last night was three times as good as the night before in every way. Atmosphere, fans, etc,. Everyone at the facility is adapting, and I think that is great. Like was stated before-this is for the kids. NKU is not used to seeing this many folks attend games.
  4. I truly think Ryle has an issue with their head girls basketball coach also being their head softball coach. Two sports that go back to back. Softball begins 02-15-09. Just wondering if she is a bit distracted. Would be a tall task to be the head coach for both of these sports for anyone.
  5. One of the few times ever that I saw Mike Yeagle get out coached. Kenny Roark had his team ready. Beechwood learned from that loss and has done just fine since then with two different coaches.
  6. KR Sports is proud to bring the following 9th Region boys basketball tournament action on the radio/internet live from the Bank of Kentucky Center. March 04, 2009 Boone County vs. Beechwood 6 PM on http://www.sportsjuice.com March 04, 2009 St. Henry vs. Highlands 8 PM on WCVX AM 1050 and http://www.wcvx.com March 05, 2009 NCC vs. Dixie Heights on http://www.sportsjuice.com March 05, 2009 Holmes vs. Ryle on WCVX AM 1050 and http://www.wcvx.com March 08, 2009 9th Region semifinal 2 PM on http://www.sportsjuice.com March 08, 2009 9th Region semifinal on 4 PM on http://www.sportsjuice.com March 10, 2009 9th Region Final on WCVX AM 1050 and http://www.wcvx.com Our thanks to Griffin Industries and St. Elizabeth Sports Medicine for sponsoring this event and allowing all of us in the media to bring the games to those that are in different states or countries, or are simply unable to attend. Good Luck to all the teams in all of the Regions!!!
  7. I believe all the radio broadcasters/internet folks (KR Sports, CovCath, Brossart, and buttels) all do a great service providing coverage of the games to the blind and handicapped that otherwise can't attend due to their disability. It seems to me that NKU shares blame for not being inclusive as they generally are towards these folks. NKU has been strangely silent on the issue. They are usually very inclusve towards these groups, and I am surprised on their lack of foresight towards these people. Whether or not they are running the 9th and 10th Region tournaments, the fact remains, it is located on their campus, and NKU should step in as some leadership is needed here.
