  1. Congratulations to Bradley, and best of luck to him and his family!
  2. I heard Brett Eyckmans, offensive line at Beechwood, has verbally committed to play at EKU next year. Congratulations to him!
  3. Congrats to Brett on an offer from EKU. Am told he is still undecided at this point
  4. Congrats to Brett also for being invited to participate in the Best of the Bluegrass All-Star Game at the end of the season. Both he and Joey Nussbaum will represent Beechwood well.
  5. With all due respect, coaches have to be selfish. Their goal is to win football games and to get their teams ready for situations that they will see in the next game. What coach in his right mind would keep his starters on the field when 1) he is up 45 points and 2) he would be risking injuries. Their JV played almost the entire 2nd half and Freshmen got in with less than two minutes to go in the game. You want to talk about fair? It's not fair to tell JV or freshmen players not play hard. You say that Coach Rash is classless? Really? Is that why he TOLD the referee to throw a flag if we scored? Which is exactly what happened when Freshmen Cameron Vocke scored - it was called back. Classless? IMO, classless is when you lead your team off of the field during the trophy presentation for the district championship. Pee Wee coaches even have their players clap for the other team. Your coach did not.
