I don't think their schedule is that bad. If they could replace Russellville with a quality opponent, it would be a solid schedule. The options are more limited in Western KY. -
I co-sign FC's reply. Pope talked about wanting one and done guys in the mix.
-
I listened to the whole thing last night. Pope spent a 3-5 minute segment talking about the NBA and played up his NBA history, how NBA guys talk in the locker room about their college years, etc.
-
Disappointed in that but understandable. He would be better served in Pope's system, but Cal fought hard to get him eligible so loyalty there.
-
I have seen projections that he could get drafted in round 2. I don't think he is a fit for Pope's system. Best wishes to him.
-
That's a good get. He was ranked #33 in class of 2022. Been on a Mormon mission the past two years. Flipping from BYU commitment to UK.

My thought looking at teams, common opponents and scores is PT had no chance against Boyle last year. I went to calpreps.com and that site confirms my thought: Boyle Co 41 PT 14 https://www.calpreps.com/cgi-bin/2023/project_matchup2.pl 2024 might be a different story but in 2023 Boyle was on a higher level than everyone else. -
Not to mention that Mitch played up Pope's NBA career and connections when he introduced him. And let's be real, every college player dreams of playing in the NBA.

Aaron Bradshaw is transferring to Ohio State.

The next 3-5 days are huge for the 2024-25 Wildcats.
-
Meanwhile, Scott Drew and his wife had a quiet dinner at a diner in Waco.
-
Directly involved in the fighting, I would say Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, US and UK, with the 5 Arab countries all being proxies of Iran. From that perspective, Iran just gave Israel the invitation to go after them hard if they are ready for that battle.
-
I say just stick with apples. No damage done. Warn them if they attempt that again, then the response will be more than 2,000 times the level of their attack. Deescalate now. (You order fruit from Amazon?)
-
Definitely had every right to respond to the Hamas attack. The response of almost complete destruction of a state and killing 33,000 civilians is what has brought condemnation of Israel's tactics. Someone throws a couple punches at you. Miss completely but stepped on your toe. Your response is to pulverize the guy to concussion and break his arm?

For KHSAA RPI purposes and the 1A-3A schools especially, beating a 5A or 6A school is huge, but losing a game to any level team is a big minus. When the small schools schedule big schools, they need to think their chances of winning are better than 50/50.
