  1. HB I don't get involved with the politics I just support the kids that participate in the athletics at MCHS because athletics is the best avenue to motivate the kids to get a good education! But I will say this, the Raider football program has had way to many coaching changes in the last 10 years and the program needs stability so I fully expexct Coach Smith to get the guys into the weight room and have a great off-season and lead the Raiders next year and many years to come and as long as he is the Head Coach I will support him 100% and I hope everyone else does as well!
  2. Well, those were my words as I looked to the season so I will respond like this; I think everyone would agree that no one is willing to be happy or satisfied with a losing season and that lack of satisfaction is what makes us work harder. I truly believed that the worse the Raiders would do was 5-5 But it isn't the end of the world because they didn't achieve that! Did the loss of some games disappoint me, yes I think it disappointed many but at any point was I disappointed in the Raiders, no absolutely not. I know what it is like to be on the sidelines and not get the results you want the results you work for and I will have to say it is a lot easier and a heck of a lot less stressful to be on the other side of the fense saying "I would have done this or that" but in reality you don't know what you would have done because you are not the one in the pressure cooker. Because I have been there I know what it's like and that is why you will never here me criticize the coaches or players because I know that as a coach no one goes into a season thinking they will do nothing less than succeed and they will work their hardest to the best of their ability to be successful. The only way to help the program be successful is to support the program 100% and I do! I support coach smith and his staff and most importantly the players. I have spent 20+ years of my life try to help the Raider football program grow and it has came a long way. I can remember when an elementary principal threatened to suspend students if they brought a football to school! The Raider football program will continue to grow if everyone does their part and be supportive even in their criticism it's called constructive criticism. It you are destructive even in your criticism you are the problem and can never be any help to the growth of our program. No, a 2-8 record is not what I or anyone else wanted but I am still very proud of the boys for all their hard work and dedication to being a Raider. We have just completed the season but I know coach smith will have the players working hard for next year and because of that I am already predicting a non losing season in 2012! I am a proud Raider and fan and I know those boys and the determination they have and I will continue to support them 100%. go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!
  3. Great job Raiders way to close out on a positive note and gain some momentum going into the off season!
  4. When I left the game with 9 min left in the 4th quarter it was McCreary 24 Jackson 0. McCreary turned it on in the 2nd half and totally dominated the game. McCreary's defense played outstanding all night! Not sure what the final ended up but I am proud of my Raiders. Good win and some momentum leading into the off-season.
  5. I stand corrected, thank you general for setting the record straight. I should have done the research and apologize for speaking without having my facts straight. Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!
  6. Jackson i believe has only won one game since they started their program a few years ago and that was last week when they beat Knott Co by 11. Since MC beat Knot as bad as they wanted to I would say MC cruises in this one and ends the season with a "W" and takes momentum into the offseason! I will say: MC - 42 JC - 14
  7. Hey, whose job was it this week to make sure the blue beer cooler was on board!
  8. New movie out this weekend. "Honey I Shrunk the Football Team!"
  9. I think it is obvious that Bell will be too much for my Raiders as they are for 95 % of the 3-A temas in Ky, but I gaurantee that the coaching staff and kids will work hard preparing for this game as they always do. I also know that come Friday the Raiders will play hard and give 100% and that is all you can ask of them. Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!
  10. Yes sir, I will be glad to buy you some coco or better yet come early and come on down by the softball field and tailgate with us!
  11. I watched the Wayne/Corbin game and all 4 of Wayne's TD's came via the pass! McCreary has tuff pass defense and I don't think Wayne will find success through the air. If McCreary can have some success stopping the running game then they have a chance. So, I will go with my boys in Marron and give them the upset 22-21! Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!
  12. I am gonna go with the Rock and my friend Papagrit! The Rock by 2 scores!
  13. I agree with commander and think this game will be a one sided affair! Bell wins going away!
  14. I agree, the Raiders played a very good game. It was fun to watch them have fun and enjoy playing the game. Keep up the hard work and it will payoff in the long run. Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!
