  1. In my opinion Highlands is the better team but if Dayton comes in with there head straight I see the game being closer than what everyone thinks it will be.
  2. Kid from Ludlow hit a shot if im not mistaken maybe 20 he also doubled. Number 15 pitched for them, and 17 closed. As for Dayton James Jones pitched the whole game, he looked good I think 9k's but what killed dayton was the throw down to 3rd allowing a run. And Dayton getting base runners on 2nd and 3rd twice in the 3rd and 5th inning with one out both times and not being able to get them in but what amazed me was Dayton sending a runner to 3rd on a 3-0 pitch and the kid got thrown out to end the game and Dayton was at the top of their lineup.
  3. Some one I would like to add to this conversation is James Jones from Dayton if we are talking about clutch relievers he is your man.
  4. IMO Bellevue is the better team but Dayton is starting to turn things around and if they can swing the bat and play some D I think they have a decent pitching staff and if they put it all together tonight it might just make for an interesting game between one of the biggest rivalries in the state
  5. Dayton returns alot of players from a young team last year the starting quarter back is up for a toss still it could be sophmore Thomas Rogg or junior Patrick Schweirjohann (sp???) but I expect them to do fairly well and go far due to the fact of an easier schedule.:dancingpa
  6. Don't get me wrong Heritage is a good team they stayed with Beechwood but still I think Dayton will come out on top. :thumb:
  7. Don't be so sure about that if Dayton beats Heritage or I think Villa we play Bellevue again
  8. They really have improved since last season seeing they only won 1 game and they already have beat that total there just hard working boys trying to get Daytons reputation back in baseball like it was back in the 95 season
  9. Holmes 2-2 Dayton 2-0 Both teams have a 1 run win over Williamstown lets here some opinions on this game
  10. Senior catcher Michael Richardson doubled home two in the first and added a three-run triple in the sixth as Dayton beat Bracken County, 11-5 on Wednesday. Trevor Scott recorded his first varsity hit, and freshman right-hander T.R. Smith tossed 1 inning allowing 1 run. Brandon Thornton was the starting pitcher pitched 4 innings allowing only 2 runs. James Jones closed the game allowing 2 runs he also went 3-3 with 2 single and an RBI double It was another great game by the devils :ylsuper:
