Tough loss for the flyers. I was at the game and very discouraged by the actions of the Western Hills fans. Their administration encouraged their fans to storm the field after the game. Several of the fans were screaming and yelling during the post game handshake. It was very classless. On top of that one of the Western Hills coaches got in the face of a FC player. I know it has been a while since they won but they need to handle themselves with class. Hats off to FC for not letting the situation escalate. Keep working hard flyers and you will reap the rewards in district play.

Corners In nailed it on the head. The flyers seem to have more focus this week at practice, so only time will tell.

Elkhorn has played Frankfort middle and Conkwright so far this year. Scott county was their toughest test to date. I was at the Middle School madness scrimmage and the grant co. game. The buffaloes have talent but not as much as years past and not as much as Scott county middle. #3 for Georgetown is good and #45 plays hard. The Elkhorn game should be a dandy once again.

Franklin County needed a wake up call. Hopefully last week was just that. They have a great coaching staff but the players don't seem like they want to work for anything. Hopefully their qb shows up this week. The OC has tried hard the past two weeks to give him easy plays to get going early, but it doesn't seem as if the light bulb has came on yet.Hopefully they can right the ship My prediction FC 35 WH 28

Very questionable decision making by the flyers QB. The youngsters looked good for the flyers. The hills game should be very interesting.

Elkhorn Middle School 14 Scott County Middle 12 One of the best middle school games i've ever seen.It was won on a 2pt play in overtime. Should make the Bluegrass Conference interesting. There were a lot of people saying It would be a walk in the park for Scott County this year. Any other Bluegrass scores?

Western Hills 22 Grant County 14.

FC can play defense they seem a little slow on the edge to me . The good thing is that they are disciplined and well coached. It will show and they will pull it off in the fourth quarter.

Franklin county 35 Lafayette 31

I feel like with the athletes Frankfort has, they are very undisciplined and undercoached. Good win but there is a lot to work on. Up front they need better tempo and to be more physical.

Good job by Flyers. Deron Hicks #5 looked great for the Flyers. He will be a force to be reckoned with. Bring on Lafayette.:flame:
