PC only scored 35 points while SL's starters were in. But everyone got hurt. So they started sitting people.
The scrimmage the other day was 42-32 while the starters were in. JV dont matter when it comes to Friday night.
Last year they stoped the deep balls. South screened them to death. And threw some crossing routes. They dont have Ronnie Claibourne playing corner anymore.
Plus SL will have Jeremy Armfield back in time for this one. He is one of the top linemen recruits this year. He also is an unstopable force on defense.
I agree I havent heard much about HC besides one of their top players being out. I do think it will be a good test for South and their defense, especially now that they have more than 3-4 people in the box. I just wanna see how HC's defense will fair against this potent offense.
With the talent they have they shouldnt find themselves on the bad side of blowouts. They might have some shootouts but their potent offense should keep them out of blowouts. Def. Coordinator Larry Welch might also have brought in a new philosophy that will match their schedule.
I agree it is alot but if I'm correct he averages around 3 per game over his career at SLHS. Plus the coaches really want to get this too. So we may see alot of play action in the red zone, instead of pounding it with the run.
