Prestonsburg come out throwing the ball, and thats simply not our game and it showed as we threw back-to-back interceptions.

Some things come up and I may not be able to make the trip to Ft. Mitchell tomorrow evening and was curious what radio station will be covering this game?

I'm sure Coach Derossett will be ready for those types of plays. Beechwood reminds me a lot of Breathitt County this year. Very good running game with a not so good passing game. And most of us know how that one turned out. BTW, Prestonsburg's 2,000 yard back from '07, Allen Craynon, will be back for this game as he has been practicing and could have played in the Morgan County game but the coaches didn't want to risk anything against a weak opponent.

Game is at Beechwood and is to be played at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 11. Should be an excellant game between the #1 team in class 1A and the #3 team in class 2A. Thoughts & Predictions?

With the tradition they have, expectations should be high every year.

Two straight embarrassing losses for CCH. CCH didn't play good at all tonight. Thought that Deter and Van Zant didn't get enough touches in this one and that cost them the game. The Colonels defense looked like they were in slow-motion the whole game. They didn't fly to the ball like most good teams do, with that being said, they give up way too many big plays to the Tigers who has scoring drives of 1 play, 2 plays, and one of 3 plays. No team will ever win any games if they play like this on defense. Beechwood come out and ready and ran the ball all over CCH. Beechwood's defense made lots of plays in the backfield. I didn't understand of the play-calling by Beechwood, one play notably was the one in the 3rd quarter when they threw the ball and it was picked off by CCH when they were running the ball easily on CCH. Other than that, the Tigers played really well. Looking forward to making the trip to Ft. Mitchell next Saturday.

Don't know about that. CCH is way-down this season and it has showed all night. The Van Zant kid for CCH is a very good player!

Isn't it the coaches job to ensure that the players are getting it done?

Wow. That spring of bad luck just showed. Pick for 6 for Beechwood... 35-14.

CCH looks like they're in slow motion.

That and they keep the ball in there playmakers hands, something CCH hasn't done most of the night.
