  1. for everyone's information Coach David Henley of Holmes played his college ball at Southeastern Illinois before moving over to Southern Illinois to play baseball.
  2. McCracken County will be made up from Lone Oak, Heath and Reidland (not Raceland). They have chosen crimson, black and white for their colors and will be the MUSTANGS.
  3. Fulton City is now looking for varsity coach. G.Yarbro moved to Tennessee
  4. That is a very good thought Dawgs28, why dont you do that.
  5. Pairings for Region 1, 1st round, Wednesday and Thursday night. Carlisle County vs Marshall Co, and Paducah Tilghman vs Mayfield (top bracket) Graves County vs Fulton Co and Calloway Co vs Heath (lower bracket) Finals will be Monday and Tuesday, March 9 and 10.
  6. B BALL FAN I hope you're right. Good luck to the DAWGS!!!!
  7. 1 Calloway County 2 Christian County 3 Muhlenberg North 4 Warren Central 5 Adair County 6 PRP 7 Jeffersontown 8 Anderson County 9 Holmes 10 Mason County 11 Scott County 12 Lincoln County 13 Corbin 14 Perry Central 15 Shelby Valley 16 Elliott County S 1st Region L 16th Region
  8. I hope they dont take any from the 1 region, nough said. Officials at one time were picked by regions. In odd number years officials from odd number regions were assigned according to their ranking in their respective region, and then a few were picked by KHSAA staff, those in good standing with the staff.
  9. Long time fan. Lit ratings are only close toward end of season. Lit ratings seldom gets more than 9-10 regional winners correct. All rankings are just fodder for fans.
  10. As I read about Elliott County, I think back to 1983 when Carlisle County(student enrollment 284) had their best team. During year they played the nations #1 team Baltimore Dunbar with Mugsy Boggs, and 2 other players that played pro ball. Dunbar won by 12 but was hard pressed to win.Carlisle was 40-4 and runner-up in the state tourney (Coach David Henley of Holmes was a starting guard on this team). As a long time fan of KY basketball I enjoy the great accomplishments of the small schools. All the luck to Elliott County.
