Should be printed on large signs and hung behind every dugout for everyone to see.

I think Fox has to rely on Shot tracer more, just because it seems like their camera operators can't track a ball in the air worth a darn. They seem like a bunch of middle school kids trying to follow a ball comared to the people that CBS and NBC use. I noticed this a couple years ago when they first started doing the US Open, and thought that they'd improve by now. It seems, sadly, I was mistaken. Also, I think sometimes Fox is their own...

What was the stat they posted there at the end...the final 5 pairings today were an aggregate 67 over par today? That's ridiculous. You've got 2 guys that started the day tied for 45th and are now in the final pairings? WTH?

We did do the Maid of the Mist tour. You're right, the sight and sound from above is nothing compared to what it's like at the foot of the falls (especially when they pulled up into the Horseshoe Falls). We also did the Cave of the Winds tour (where you can walk on the wooden platforms located below the Bridal Falls). That was impressive as well. My wife enjoyed this even more than the boat ride.

Was there on Monday. Loved it. You will too, no doubt. Some of my observations: *You've got three distinct options for parking. One is metered, but limited to two hours at a time. Another is one of the paid daily lots. And the third is one of the three free lots that are further out, but covered by a trolley shuttle. (I think a family pass for a day is $5 for the shuttle). We paid $10 for one of the daily lots, just so we could have...

If you're talking about the play where he wanted to go home with the throw, but Disco was in front of him, I'd hardly call that bonehead. He knows what the pitching staff has done this year, so any chance you can cut down a guy at the plate you almost always have to take it. It was just unfortunate that Disco was doing what he was supposed to do, too, and that was to cover first.

Honest question, why is Winker playing right field? I've always heard that you put your worst defensive outfield in left, because if they misplay a ball in the corner or gap, it's a shorter throw to 3rd...so, it's less likely to have a negative impact.

Don't have our passports. So, limited to US side. My cousin recommended the Cave of the Winds. According to her, it's behind the falls too. I wonder, is there one on both the US and the Canadian side?

Stopped watching after the blatent non-call in the 3rd. Steph commits an obvious foul, it doesn't get called, James loses ball out-of-bounds, Lue gets Teed up, and Steph shoots free throws. Sounds about right. :ohbrother:

I posted another thread in the Break Room, but figured one here could also be beneficial. My wife, son and I are going to be heading to Cooperstown next week for a mini-vacation. Anybody been there before? Any helpful suggestions or secrets to be aware of? I am a baseball nut, and love the history of the game. My wife...not so much. So, I'm going to have to balance how much time we spend there. How long have you spent? Any other...

My wife decided we should do an impromptu vacation next week, and we came up with going to Niagra Falls and Cooperstown. Don't really have anything specific planned for either area (other than the HOF, of course). Anybody have any suggestions for the "less than obvious" in either place? It looks like Naval & Military Park in Buffalo might be a stop for us. Not sure about the wife, but the boy and I would enjoy it. Anything else? Any...

I stopped watching after that. In all honesty, when betting on games starts happening for real...Silver better have wire taps and men following the refs, because it's sure going to look like someone's on the take.

Anybody know how much the Horse Park charged for schools to have graduation there? Was there for my nephew's (Franklin County) and know that Scott County and Western Hills also had theirs there too. I think they did 4 or 5 graduations in one day.

The way I understand it...is they're allowed to review it when it takes place within the area under the basket (defined by the line). When the defender is not near that...then it they're not (allowed to review/change it). So, four feet might as well be 44 feet...they're all the same. They may have indeed got the "call" right...but, they circumvented the rules to do it. Don't like it. Opens up a huge can of worms for down the line. ...

Just for kicks, I went back and looked at the past 10 years or so, to see who was rated as their top prospects. I did every-other-year, just because of the overlaps likely to occur. (It looks like most of these rankings were done in January, leading up to that year's season...so, it's very possible someone may have been on the Reds that year, and still show up on this prospect list.) 2008 1. Jay Bruce 2. Johnny Cueto 3. Joey Votto 4....

I have the same problem with the grackles. A few things that I've found suggested as "cures" involve the following: - Use safflower seed. Apparently they don't like the taste. (I've got a mix of safflower and sunflower right now...going to go all safflower when I run out.) - Change the type of feeder. Use one that they can't perch on, or has smaller "windows" that the littler birds can get thru, but the grackles can't. (Hate getting rid...

True, but I thought they did a good job in intermixing the groups (Thor/Guardians, Iron Man/Dr. Strange, etc.) that it kept things fresh and moving. I never once thought about the time/length of the movie.

Here's what I fully expect to see happen. For the next two years, the logo/colors stay the same. They'll ride the excitement of the move to MSL in the current look (jersey sales). Then when the new stadium opens...suddenly there'll be a new logo/colors, so that all the true fans out there will have to go buy again...just so they can have the "new" look.

Well, you've got to feel it's either he or Romano. I don't see them sending Romano to the pen, as much as the possibility of sending down to Louisville.

Golden State takes both games opening the series at home. LeBron is gassed. Home crowd wills him to a win in one of the next two at Cleveland, but the Warriors clinch it back out west in game 5.

It was a similar type of scenario that actually caused me to change my mind about this type of protest. It basically boils down to the "reason" versus the "protest". And yes, I do think if there was a "reason" that was deemed worthy enough, that you would not see the type of uproar that you have right now. That being said, I don't know if it would be the first type of protest that I would think of starting myself. Also my beef with the...

Also, when Lorenzen's spot came up in the 10th...yes, we had Suarez on first, but there were two out. Hindsight is always 20/20, but I think they should've let Lorenzen bat there and saved Cruz for a situation more critical. There was a pretty good chance the Reds were going to need more than 1 hit to score that inning anyway. No need to fire your last bullet when you have someone like Lorenzen already there.

I know they were all over him on TV for not trying it....but, honestly, from the camera angles that I saw, he'd been out by a mile. I don't think Hatcher sends most guys running at full speed if the left fielder has the ball where he caught it last night...let alone one of the slowest guys on the team, from a dead stop. Billy...Peraza...Schebler... Scooter? Sure. Votto...Barnhart...Winker? I think they'd all have been out.
