  1. Brossart's Alex Trentman has committed to play for Christian Brothers University. It ia a NCAA division 2 affiliate. Congrats big AL-super excited for you and your family!!
  2. Congrats Alex!! He played very very good at Orlando!! Was taking it to the rim very well with confidence and played consistent. This will be be first of many many offers for him to choose from.
  3. No mention of Jake Schulte from NCC or Drew Burns from Brossart. Helton over both of these guys, absurd with year they have both had. Also, no Zach McNeil from Cooper. Some great names on the list but also some fair names on the list and to leave these 3 off is leaving off some great talent.
  4. Not true at all. Where do yoiu come up with these things? I am a very close friend of the family and it had nothing to do with Trame's coaching style. Do you just make these things up or what. It was their decision as a family and they would appreciate it if people do not make up things or post assumptions that are just not true.
  5. Ponzer of Walton is going to Mount St. Joe's in Ohio and add Camron Burns (Walton) to the list-he is going to DePauw University in Indiana.
  6. Interesting comment about Davis dominating the boards. Walton outrebounded the Braves by 6. Davis did have a good game with 20 pts and 10 rebounds. However, his matchup-Burns had 19 points and 12 rebounds so I am not so sure he "dominated the boards". Also Ponzer had 22 points for the Bearcats on top of that to Wartmans 20. However, the past game means nothing so that is why we will see a great game tomorrow night!!
  7. I realize there are a lot of people on here that are high on the guards at Walton. However, I think they can be outstanding if 2 things can happen. 1. They play unselfishly and do not worry about their own personal aggendas or point totals. If they play team ball as the game is designed they will have a tremendous season!! 2. They have to cut their turnovers in half. Walton's guards have the highest turnover rate of anyone in the district or region. It is something they have struggled with the past few years. If they can not turn the ball over the team will have huge success. However, you cannot win ballgames with the amount of turnovers they have and then you cannot blame it on the bigs. In one game last year 2 of the starting guards had double digit turnovers by halftime. That was not out of the ordinary either. I think they can have a fantastic season under thier new coach but I think these are 2 things that if conquered could make them an outstanding team!!
  8. They are governed by KHSAA if they have played Varsity and he has!!
  9. Reynolds is 6'5" and Burns is 6'7". I can tell Burns has been putting on some muscle in the last year from what I have seen. I got to see him play in a couple of AAU games this summer and was impressed. Reynolds is still a rail but he is more of an outside player and does not like the middle. Reynolds and Burns will compliment each other well. Haven't seen them play this summer with HS but I hear Coach Trame really has them playing some team ball and working them hard.
  10. What do you think overall of the camp? I have heard a lot of negative feedback lately about the camp. Therefore I am a little reluctant to send any of our team there. Several of the complaints have been there is a lot of dead time, very poorly run and disorganized and catered to only a few. One person said at moments it was a free for all at imes. Any opinions as these are from some counselors and parents and I am not there to see it first hand and have an opinion.
  11. Like I said-the decision has already been made and been offered. There is no interest in outside applicants including former coach Eades.
  12. He has been offered the job already you will hear an announcement soon
