Thanks for filling in the blanks on Madison Central. I wasn't aware Muntz had decided to focus on football or of the transfer from Elizabethtown.

The Scott County Cardinals returned to the top of the always tough region last season. Compared to years past the overall talent in the 11th Region might be a little down but this region will still produce some of the top players and teams in the state. As always expect the winner of this region to head to Rupp Arena as one of the favorites to cut down the nets. Team Rankings 1. Scott County The Cardinals return arguably one of the best...

Does anyone else find it "convenient" that the Chair of the Board of Control is also the Superintendent of Woodford County Schools? Or am I just the only one who will point that out? Listen, I understand its hard to move 3 schools from one region to another and all that. I'm not even saying the Frankfort schools should be in the 8th, but its absurd that Woodford is going to the 8th region. Woodford County borders 1 county that's in the 8th...

The season will hinge on if Anderson and Diagne get eligible. Right now WKU only has 8 available bodies. Missouri State is no joke. Got up 22 in this game and WKU clawed back and got it within a possession a couple times late. I still think they have a chance to be better then most expect. Also, to answer your question about Stansbury's seat getting hot......NO.

I do think they will be that much better then last year bc they have guys this year that can create offense on their own. Last year it was slow down set plays come off a bunch of screens and hope you get an open look. A lot of those guys were perimeter jump shooters first and couldn't create much off the dribble. You have guys this year that can break down perimeter defense and get in the lane and create offense. The record might be similar but...

Hollingsworth leads the way again for the short handed Hilltoppers. 20 points on 9/14 from the field, 7 steals, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 0 turnovers in 35 minutes. Justin Johnson adds 16 points and 15 rebounds. WKU had 6 of the available 7 in double figures. Campbellsville obviously a lower level team compared to WKU but WKU struggled with them last year. This WKU leaps and bounds ahead of last year's squad!

Hollingsworth led the way with 19 for WKU on 7/9 from the field. Only 7 available players for the Tops today. Anderson and Diagne awaiting clearance from NCAA and Bearden out nursing an ankle. Great showing for WKU all things considered against a Samford team that was picked by some to win the Southern Conference. Justin Johnson added 15 points and 11 rebounds. Strong showing for all 3 of the Kentucky based kids. They return to action on...
