Any other names, what about Josh Anderson? Heard he has moved back home since his pro days are over.

They were postponed until tonight. Lighting delay. Somerset was up 1-0 in the top of the third, but Boyle had runners on second and third with no outs. Play will resume at that point tonight at 5:30.

45th District Danville 13 Boyle 3 46th District West Jessamine Mercer 47th District Somerset 11 Rockcastle 4 48th District Southwestern 6 McCreary 2 Region played at Pulaski looks to be a wide open affair, but one has to think that Danville, Somerset, West, and Mercer come in as the favorites. Not for sure if Southwestern is a favorite or not, but they have a nice club as well. Rock will be a tough draw for one of the District winners. Boyle will be no push over either, and McCreary can give you a good game as well. Top to bottom this has to be one of the deepest 12th region tournaments in recent history. Looking forward to it!

Prayers for a great coach and an even greater man!

I heard both Robles and Weir will be back for tonights game

Scott was one of my best friends in coaching. He taught me so much as a player at Pulaski on through my coaching days with him and against him. He loved the game so much, and he loved his players even more. There will certainly be a large hole in many hearts of past and present Maroons. Please keep his players and family in your prayers. And as his family said today if you knew Scott don't mourn over his death celebrate his life.....And his life was BASEBALL! Coach Mac you will be missed!

By all indications this process was not what anyone really desired. I have heard that the administration was uneasy with the idea of hiring another young coach like they did last time. The job didn't garner much interest with only a handful of people applying for the job. And as it was told to me there was no teaching position open to hire a coach into. Take it for what its worth I guess, lets just hope that tomorrow brings closure to the situation. These kids need a leader and soon they will get one.

I hear they are naming a coach this week, probably Thursday night at the board meeting I would guess. Any ideas of who it might be?

Good to hear that they are moving along in the process. The kids have to be anxious to find out who there new coach will be. Good Luck to all candidates, hopefully the best guy will get the job. The program deserves a good coach!

Still not hearing much, this seems odd that no one knows anything about this job. Did they have anyone apply?
