L.C. vs. Althoff should be a very good game.Althoff plays in the 5A class in Illinois, due to private school multiplier.I believe if my math is correct it equates out to be about 5A in Kentucky .The schools enrollments run from 1000 to 1500 students.Althoff's losses the last 2 years have come to Cahokia 2 losses( Semi and Quarterfinal finisher in 5A playoffs);St.Louis University High 2( Private all boys school of around 2000);Mount Vernon(Semifinalist in 6A); and Kankakee Bishop MacNamara(in 5A playoffs, and a traditional power in the outstanding Chicago Catholic League).Of the losses all but 1 were by a touchdown or less, the loss to Cahokia in the 5A playoffs was a 14-0 game which came 3 weeks after Althoff had beaten them 57-28. This should be an outstanding game as Althoff is one of the favorites in 5A thisyear.They return around 16 starters, including Jason Ford, Considered one of the top running back recruits in the country.
