  1. St. X and Lexington Catholic come to mind.
  2. People will adjust to whatever rotten standards they're judged by. An "A" grade isn't what it used to be. I suppose we ought to lower expectations for hoops as well; if you can't play your way to Rupp, maybe you can whine/menstruate/legislate your way there.
  3. Several of the private schools have been known to send ALL students upstairs so that parents and boosters can sit in the lower level. It's crazy.
  4. This is ridiculous. Corbin was last at the Sweet Sixteen as recently as 2005, has made trip upon trip over the years, and came within a bucket of going this year. It's not some impossible dream. Going into next year, it's quite probable that South will be watching the Hounds instead. People like you want to bust the trophies up into a million pieces and expect the "champions" to feel special. Folks in places like Corbin would be insulted at the prospect.
  5. I'm sure everyone would love to see Corbin host the regional year in and year out. Rotating it amongst the schools is working out just fine.
  6. The "trip to Rupp" would be a diluted shadow of itself in a class system.
  7. Might as well quit playing basketball in this state if that happens.
