  2. Yeah, when Holmes and Cov Cath are losing, Coach Listerman and Coach Henley just sit down and let their players take over. They are great coaches because they recognize what needs to be done or said in order for their teams to be successful. You are absolutely correct that the players are the ones who play the game and need to motivate one another. However, coaching is about putting your players in the best position to win (mentally and physically) and that is not currently being done at Boone.
  3. I'll leave it at "you can't tell from a summer game" because Boone developes out of sets and they are just trying to get movement out of the offense right now without any set plays. Gallatin is a solid team, but in the season wants Boone is used to playing with each other. I dont see them winning by less than 15 to them.
  4. You can't tell from a summer game and the game yesterday was by far the worst Boone has played all summer. They came out very flat.
  5. Scott Co. beat Boone Co. -Scott Co. size hurt Boone. -Scott Co. also shot the ball well.
  6. Michael Sparks from Tates Creek broke his finger so I don't know if Tates Creek will advance that far without him.
  7. Boone County also won their pool. They beat Knox Central by 3 or 4. Boone County plays Pineville tomorrow at 6:30 and if they win, they will probably end up playing Scott County at 9.
  8. They are all great players. Each one brings something different to the table: Pelle's offensive skills, McFarland's defensive ability, Bibbin's does a great job of penetrating. I wish that I could have seen them all play together at NKU :thumb:. I have to admit that when I first heard Bibbins and McFarland were going to NKU that there was no way, but both of those young men have proven that they can play at that level. If I remember correctly, Bibbins walked on the team and McFarland basically did too(I heard he was on an academic scholarship). Anyways, I wish Corey Pelle the best of luck at WLSU! It was a pleasure to watch him the few times I did

  11. These players have been playing togather for most of their life. I would say they would have some kind of chemistry.
