  6. It is kinda hard to find a team the same age and grade, most of the 6th grade teams have a bunch of 13 year old hold backs (at least 3 of them). I didn't say I wanted to play down, my point is why do we allow it for anyone.
  7. I guess that is what doesn't seem fair--I can play 11 and under if I am 12 but in the 5th grade because I was held back, but I can't play if I am 12 and in the 6th grade but have not failed or been held back. Why do we penalize the smart kids? Why don't they just allow 3 age exceptions regardless of grade?
  8. He would not be a grade exception if he was eligible because of age right?
  9. What is the thinking behind grade exceptions in AAU? Why doesn't everyone just play with their own age group? It seems like good students are penalized for not flunking since they can not play with a younger age group but those that fail can. Has AAU always had grade exceptions? Is the same true for USSA, and BCI?
  10. Embarrasing.....it is a shame, we should be better than this.
  11. Will there be a Division I and II for 4th grade?
  12. IMO--Kentucky played more relaxed when it looked like it was over and they had nothing to lose. Passes began going down the field and were caught. Also, I think the fans leaving motivated them to make something happen. We stayed till the end and it was well worth it. If you had just been listening inside the stadium, you would have never known anyone left. The last 4 minutes were the best....and our house was rockin! Go CATS!!!
  13. Will there be specific criteria for determination of DI and DII? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
