  1. Final. With this win the Jackets locked up the #1 seed in district 6.
  2. Williamsburg's non-district schedule would have been a though one for just about any moutain team.:irked:
  3. Yeah i seriously doubt that would ever happen. See Coach Heron has one thing that Jim Black never did, a diploma from Williamsburg. Coach Herron loves the Burg, im not saying that Jim didn't, while he was here, but Coach Herron always has and always will. I dont think there is anywhere else he would rather coach.
  4. Wow! Where was this Jacket defense earlier in the season?? These kids came to play. This is, by far, the most physical i've seen the Jackets play all year long, and what game to do it. Just one of many awsome ends to this long standing rivialry. On a sadder note, has anyone heard anything, for sure about roskopf's injury?? My prayers are with him and his family. Good luck to Joe and L.C. the rest of the season.
  5. I believe the rule is if the student moves schools before they leave the district, then they are required to sit out of athletics for one year. To the best of my knowledge the kid switched schools in January, and the family moved this fall. If this is the case then they have no reason to blame any of this on the Williamsburg school board.
  6. From what i've heard the C-Ville players were doing more then winning to encourage the behavior of Williamsburg. It was a two-way street. Like i said first i was disapointed with the way both teams, coaches and players included, acted. Now i dont know much about the coaching staff of Campbellsville, but from what i know about Jerry Herron and Co., i'm sure it was adressed, Chant. Good luck to C-Ville with the rest of their season.
  7. The jackets were scared at first, but played well after they got over their fear. I was disapointed in the way the Jackets played as well as the sportsmanship of the campbellsville coaches and players. The coaches never subed down and even kicked an onside kick while up by 30+. The players were just as bad, they were taking cheap shots and running their mouths all game long. To me thats a sign of bad coaching. I was also really diapointed in the refs fo this game. Im surpried they didnt get someone hurt.
  8. Williamsburg nursed some injuries last week and as far as i know are healthy. Despite the drive i'll take the Burg 48 23
  9. Anybody have any info on the injurys for williamsburg???If they are healthy huge win for the Burg. 45-16 If they arnt back i'd say 38-32
  10. I was impressed with both teams D in the first half. The Burg's offense really was disappointing. After the 1st half it looked like it would turn out to be a struggle to score for both teams. Injuries in the 2nd half really hurt the Jackets. Has anybody heard anything on the status of these kids? I know I seen two leave during the game.
  11. I think everyone (including myslef) is going to be surpised with the D from williamsburg this week. It seems like they arent even a factor in this game, and im sure Coach Herron will use that to motivate these kids. The offense we know is sound, this young defense needs to show up in this one, and i'll bet that is being preched to them this week.
  12. Williamsburg did have some trouble in the gird-o-rama, but keep in mind it was only 1 half of football. They were also missing key players due to school misconduct and injury.
  13. Williamsburg's D also still has something to prove after giving up 21 points to Bath last week. I'm sure they would love to show just how good they are, since it's the last time (unless the meet at state) that they play.Williamsburg in a defensive stand 42-33
