  1. Isn't this Gallatin's first season in varsity football, If so, they are putting together quite a program.
  2. I think it will be a closer game than it has been in the past, but I choose CCH by 10.
  3. Campbell has Nick Rhoden returning somewhere in the midfield, he scored 10 goals last year, they also have Jordan Parks who will fill the stopper role. They also return their starting keeper Brian Putoff, they will build the team around these 3 guys and have some solid players in supporting roles. I think they are right in contention for the district crown, it is always a tough district to win with teams like Highlands, NCC, and Brossart to fight with. Not sure what Scott has returning, anyone know what Highlands has coming back?
  4. The Boys NKY Poll came out Saturday as well, here's how it looks: School W L T Points 1. Ryle (13) 16 5 4 162 2. St. Henry (1) 18 4 1 136 3. Highlands (1) 12 11 1 127 4. CovCath (1) 13 7 0 123 5. Brossart (1) 17 4 1 94 6. NewCath 9 7 2 69 7. Campbell County 8 5 2 64 8. Scott 12 7 2 63 9. Dixie Heights 5 10 1 30 10. Holy Cross 6 12 2 28 Others receiving votes: Boone County 25, Pendleton County 4, Walton-Verona 3, Simon Kenton 2, Grant County 2, Calvary Christian 1, Conner 1, Villa Madonna 1. What do you think?
  5. Any news on how any of these teams looked? Particularly Brossart in their first varsity scrimmage?
  6. Their JV coach Al Hertsenberg has taken over the head coaching duties.
  7. Any news on a statewide coaches poll, they usually have one released by now?
  8. Just read in the Ky Post on Saturday that John Horton has resigned from Cov Cath soccer, the paper didn't give any details. John will be missed on the sidelines. he was a great coach and great ambassodor for Ky soccer.
  9. Good question, I think they are trying to work that out now.:thumb:
  10. I think the Royals have had just about everyones number for the past few years.
  11. If Bruce Pearl and Jim Calhoun were there, this was one high profile game!
