Mason played O-line in college, and he is predominantly an offensive coach. He coaches outside LBs because every coach at Boyle has an Offensive and Defensive position
Sean is a moron, with no insight into the game. The only thing worse than listening to him, is listening to him, Emmitt Smith, and two random fat guys on the same stage.
I agree that Southern and Lincoln's slothfullness in their coaching hire has gotten some applicants worried. I wouldnt be surprised to see Garrard get all applications from these coaches. Honestly they must be thinking that if Southern or Lincoln liked them as possible coaches then they wouldnt be dragging their feet soo much.
I never said anything about the quality of coaching. I know that Coach Thomas is a great coach. Alot of the coachs of the schools listed are great coaches, Cronin, Frye, and even Thomas More's coach (name?) are all great coaches. Sometimes the assistants are just ex-players, and that doesnt always mean that those are the best quality, but i know that just being a head coach at any college level makes them qualified for high school jobs.
It wont be Campbellsville because Perry Thomas just got there. KY Wesleyan, KCU, Kstate, Cumberlands, Centre, Thomas Moore, Georgetown, the list goes on and on....
Maybe it was offered to Northern Kentucky's head coach..... or perhaps Transy's....lol
I asked myself the same question about Hester and Perry. I dont think Hester or Perry would leave. Im pretty sure Hester doesnt want to move from Boyle... i think his son is an upcoming freshman, and i think his wife is a teacher at Boyle.
Stonebreaker's only accomplishment has been getting teams into the playoffs, which is something that 75% of the teams in KY do now-a-days. I think Garrard Countians would like to see a Coach with a proven record for taking programs to the next level.
See grade and behavior issues are within their hands. You can get students tutoring and behavior problems can be corrected with some discipline. I am not very high on Stonebreaker or Cooper's credentials, and we all agree that the school needs change. With the schedules Stonebreaker puts together (especially at Casey) it would be impossible to go 2-9 if you put a team on the field. With Their new district and class they should be able to be a top contender in their district and region, and yet they have losses to Washington Co., and Pendleton Co. (a team that had to go to overtime to beat Bourbon). Plus they arent even competetive against Somerset, which they have to go through.
