  1. Changes need to be made. PLDS can't afford another season wasted.
  2. Dunbar ran all over the general defense last night. PLD's QB Colby Haney ran the option to perfection and rushed for close to a hundred yards and 3 tds. This is the Dunbar offense everyone is used to seeing. The defensive front played great, but a couple of long bombs on the Dunbar secondary really hurt the dogs. They just cant seem to get any breaks this season, I really feel for those kids because they are a very special bunch. This fact is unbelievable, every team Dunbar has played this year has been undefeated when PLD faced them. I seriously think Dunbar has one of the toughest schedules in the state, without a doubt. They have played MBA, Madison Central, PRP, Ryle, Woodford COunty, Tates Creek, And now Lafayette, with Henry Clay, Scott County and Bryan Station left. Wow.
  3. DH deciding to go for it sure didn't pay off. Does anyone know if offensive coordinator had any input in this game?
  4. Why did DH leave EJ?????? And what ever happen to G. Couch. He was an asset.
  5. The issue at Dunbar is play calling. Not sure the offensive coordinator has much input. Can't depend on what works in the past due to talent and teams stepping up in the district. I think waiting until Dunbar is into the district games to make changes to the offense will be a hard recovery for the team. Hope the dawgs can come back.
  6. I disagree, I think that their qb has been making plays all season and has carried a pretty good load on his shoulders. He has passed around 60% every game. What more can you ask from a qb when they only throw the ball 4 or 5 times a game. I know he has had at least a 30 or 40 yard completion each game. I dont understand the scheme at dunbar either. I dont see the logic in getting in a two back set every down and running fullback dive when the D is putting 9 guys in the box. I have seen their qb and other skill kids play in many games this year, and they are doing the best that they can with the play calling right now, in my opinion that is what is hurting them the most.
  7. Dunbar does have a tough district schedule to go along with their bruisers for their first 4 games. I have seen dunbar play twice, and their qb looks like an athlete, but the absence of their star running back hurts them. I also have to question the playcalling a couple of times down their at dunbar, their lack of passing could really hurt them when teams dont honor that part of the game and put 9 guys in the box because they know you are going to run fb dive. I really like their headcoaches philosophy, but take some pressure off of their backfield by spreading some teams out every once in awhile. Id like to see them do great in the district. (go knights!!!great game against Scott!!):jump:
  8. Dunbar wins 28-0. I think dunbar is going to be the team no one wants to play come district time, they are a team waiting to explode. I have had the oppertunity to see them play twice, and both times turnovers killed them. Take away a few bonehead plays and dunbar could easily be 2-2 for the games ive seen. And from what i hear they did the same thing in the other games as well. This week they have jerrel Greene(sp?) back from what i hear and this kid can flat out play. They also have great talent at the other skill positions, but youth is hurting them right now, and putting alot of pressure on their qaurterback. But Dunbar wins this one going away.
