This is twice now that Highlands hasn't impressed me. Lucky for them this is a down year for Nky football. Last years Ryle and Cov. Cath. teams would of both beat this team.
I may not have the best memory, but after the second loss to Cov. Cath. last year alot of the Bluebird faithful were questioning the coaching. Now a fresh season with a ton of talent and we have the second coming of Vince Lombardi. Tell me, was Cov. more talented last year or better coached.
That is right, I said better coaching. If you put Highlands coaching staff at Ryle last year they wouldn't of went to State. My Grandma could win with the talent they have year in and year out at Highlands.
As said in another post, alot of coaches could of won state with this team. I think he decided to leave while the getting was good because the next few years would of showed his true coaching ability, which I think is suspect.
You guys lose to CCH and the sky is falling. The coaches call the offense for the talent that they have on the team. They are with these kids year round and they know what they are capable of doing. Next year if these coaches win state they will be geniuses.
1. Highlands is not Colerain, and the option is not one dimensional .
2. One touchdown was after a terrible interference call and the total passing numbers for Highlands were unimpressive
Like I said for the first game. Highlands team is one dimensional and this will kill them in the second game. Cov. Cath will move the ball much easier this game and score a minimum of 28. Cov Cath's defense will shut down the
running game and Highlands will be lucky to score 7. FINAL COV. 31 HIGHLANDS. 7
