  1. So no one thinks that Lawrence County has a chance against Belfry????
  2. Yes they do, enough said it was a great game, just wish we could have pulle it out, they wanted it so bad you could see it in their eyes.
  3. I'm going to say Lawrence County comes out ready and firing falling over from this past Friday, still I dint know if they can win this one, it should be a good game. But being from LC I cant pick against them. LC 28 Belfry 26
  4. For everyone who didnt go to the game, let me fill you in a little bit, Lawrence County came out as ready as anybody could have, they made some big defensive plays but gave up a long 3rd down pass in the 1st quarter that led on to become a touchdown, but like anyone else that was there seen that this team didn't give up, they kept fighting no matter what. This was a very clean game except one guy for LC getting ejected late in the game, very hard hitting game. There was a onside kick for LC in front of the home stand, and the kid for Coal Grove bless his heart held on to the ball but got drilled and his helmet popped off. I'm glad to see hard hitting back at LC. Boone looked good at times, but other times the offense looked out of sink a little bit, but they did move the ball when they wanted to it seemed like. And whoever said trick plays wont work, well it depends on the defense and how focused they are on to stopping the run. Everyone there knew if LC had another 5 seconds we would all be congratulating LC on the win, or atleast taking it into overtime. Good job boys, wait to represent the red and black, wear it proud...
  5. I was very impressed the way the Bulldogs hung in the game, they showed alot of heart in the second half only giving up one toucdown. The offense came alive in the 4th quarter thanks to some trick plays, which I believe both were for touchdowns. You could tell the kids were starting to have fun with the offense, once they started catching the ball and trusting in each other. That was a very exciting game in the 2nd half, im proud to say im a Bulldog fan. Keep up the good luck Dawgs, see everyone at Belfry...

  7. How have they looked so far? I think if the receivers for Lawrence County can catch the ball, they should be in good shape.
  8. How does everyone see this scrimmage playing out? Who wins and what do u expect to see from both teams?
  9. So how does everyone think Lawrence County will do in their scrimmage next saturday vs Montgomery County? Has anyone seen Montgomery County play, if so how do they look?
  10. Lawrence County's Jv team looked really good, I dont think anyone scored on them the whole time I was there, and they came out firing, I belive they scored on their first two possesions against Raceland. They are very fast on defense, not that big but very fast and they all get to the ball , it was good to see that in a young team this early in the season, only bright things in the future for Lawrence County. Also, #33 for Fleming County, I think hes a fullback for running back is a beast, he was running over people and carrying 2 at a time for 3 or 4 yds. I know Lawrence Conuty is young, but they impressed me. kinda rusty at times on offense but what do u expect when u bring a totally new offense the first year, cant wait to see them in action next Saturday vs Montgomery County.
  11. I just got back from the scrimmage, the things that stood out for me was Lawrence County's defense which played well and aggresive the whole scrimmage, and Raceland's speed. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Lc only got one touchdown put on them. Fleming County looked like they had a powerful running attack, also some hard hits on the defensive side of the ball. Of course it was a first scrimmage for all three teams, so alot needs to be worked on. Boone Goldsmith, the quarterback for LC has great presence in the huddle and he seems like he is in command of his team. Coty Roberts for the Bulldogs had some nice runs I belive a 30 yarder then a reception for a touchdown for 40 plus yards, overall it was a good scrimmage for all 3 teams, Goodluck to Fleming County and Raceland throughout the year.
  12. Yeah I understand what you are saying, but for the past couple of seasons Lawrence County has had, this is music to my ears. I'm looking for to tape the games for the Bulldogs, and I'm also honored to be part of such a program that has so much pride. These boys even though they have had a couple bad seasons, go out there in practice and in games and give it their all. Football takes alot of discipline, and alot of time away from your daily life, so I think we should give these kids a break. I'm behind LC 100%. Goldsmith has this team going in the right direction, they were in alot of the games last year until halftime, but because of injuries and not alot of depth the ganmes got away from them. Goodluck Dawgs.
  13. I just heard that the Bulldogs are really impressing alot of people at practice. How does everyone think they will do in their scrimmages, and who all do they scrimmage besides Montgomery County?
  14. i'm glad to see the Bulldogs back where they need to be. I knew Boone would be a good quarterback, hopefully it will fall over to the season. Good luck Bulldogs.
  15. Michael West of Lawrence County was the fastest player I have ever seen.
