  1. Jesus told Peter to put his sword up not throw it away. He also had allowed Peter to carry his sword with him as he had it on his person. God was not against killing in all instances. He even sent his people in to posses the land knowing it would result in blood shed. He sent King Saul on a quest to destroy every man, woman, child, and animal in one kingdom. Saul fell out of God's favor for not killing all the rams and bringing back the King. So thou shall not kill must not be taken with such a narrow interpretation to be applied to all things in all situations. God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. He changes not. Some may want to ignore the old testament but it is a schoolmaster that lets us understand the nature of God. Jesus never destroyed the law he fulfilled it. He also never changed the nature of God. Paul refered to the old scriptures in his writing and said that with out the law he would not have known sin.
  2. 5 Belfry 3 Bowling Green 3 Bardstown 1 Beechwood 1 Danville 1 Bell 1 Boone 1 Lafayette 1 Tates creek 1 Manual 51
  3. So you used to watch them also, boy you are old:sssh: Pburg has the mo and Belfry has the go should be a good game as they go toe to toe. If not at Belfry i would take Pburg, but it is, so Belfry by 8. Belfry fans will be the difference.
  4. The seniors that will not get to play at the next level should get to play out the rest of the game as reward for all those years of work, sweat and standing on the sidelines. It's over for them:cry:
  5. I think panthers is the Louisa middle school. Louisa High was the Bulldogs
  6. Before Sheldon Clark there were Inez High School Indians black and orange Warfield High School Red Devils marron and gold:devil: No football at either but Inez does own a couple of basketball state championships.
  7. Sheldon Clark a 3 seed in 2A could be at PJ in December. I don't know, they will playing on the road but they have a shot.
  8. 9-1 Best overall record in their district, only loss on the road in overtime and their chances of a home playoff game is about nil. Tough break for the cards.
  9. Congrats to the bulldawgs. May be something to build on as they will be one of a few entering next season on a winning streak. The dogs will be back as Goldsmith is one of the best coaches around. I knew it would not be easy bringing LC back to where they were, but if anyone can do it he will. I for one can see the foundation he is building and if not for some bad breaks it would have shown this year. Look at his comments on his players ie: never quit, played hard to the end, gave their all. If players are doing that what more can you ask of them or their coach. Go dawgs:thumb:
  10. Got to agree with you. One of the hardest hitters I have seen in high school. He could sure more than stand people up, he would put them on their back side and then give them a hand up.:thumb:
  11. And most thought S.C. would be wore down by the second half. Great win cards and Belfry will bounce back. Doesn't this put SC in the drivers seat for a shot at the #1 seed and home field if there is a rematch?
  12. Did anyone notice that this was from a Hazard Bulldog location. Not all dawgs are LC dawgs:laugh:
  13. Every one in Martin and Lawrence county must be at the game. Wish I were there instead of being in central Ky. This was always my favorite game. Someone please give us an up date.:jump:
