  1. You'll hear from craig brutcher as a D-lineman, his twin brother matt will have QB starting position. Trevor Foy, Zach Kamber, Emmanuel Wright, DJ Hall, John Taylor, and Michael McCormick will also standout on the Tiger Defense. On offense, in addition to Duece, plan to see Jerimiah Neal (will be junior) and Beech. Sweeney and Botner will be the WRs. Look for Brian Buehner to be getting some good time as QB.
  2. Does the khsaa really want to shun the money that the X v. T state game brings in to them?
  3. St X has always had a special relationship with central. As some people already know, St. X was the first school to agree to play Central in both Football and basketball back during the civil rights era. All of us at St. X have an incredible amount of respect for the Central team. Their boys play just as hard as any team we play. Congratulations on a WELL EARNED win!
  4. Both teams played their hearts out. The game last night stands as a testament to Kentucky high school football. Congratulations Trinity on a hard earned win! You guys are a hell of a team. I wish all the Trinity seniors the best of luck wherever they go from here. Just a word on class-yes there were actions from both sides of the field that could be considered classless. But I think that it is important not to focus on those negative aspects of last night. Both schools must remember last night as the night when the two greatest high school rivals in the nation came together and waged one of the hardest fought battles in the history of the series. We must remember the names of the players and coaches that brought everything they had--and left it all on the field. Let those who lack class suffer the consequences of their faults, but we can not dishonor the legacy of those boys by bringing the focus of last night off of their performance. Jimmyref- I hear you on that one. For the past four years, I have had the privilege to be a part of this X team. I am honored to call every single one of those guys not only my friends but my brothers. I hope they know how proud every member of the St X community is of all of their achievements on the field, in the locker room, in the classroom, and in the community--this team is truly one of the greatest! I want them all to know I would not trade anything in the world (including an alternative ending last night) for the past 4 years they have given to me. I love every single member of that team-they are, and always will be, my boys.
  5. Biotech do not doubt your tigers...the D will be the usuall and benzo will play a full game this time
  6. Very Impressive T...I must say, you all were a testament, not only to your all's program, but to Kentucky football in general. You guys should be proud! I am extremely excited for Sept 28, should be a fun night.
  7. I have got to take my hat off to LC #5 Winston Guy. What an athlete! It isnt that X needs work with PATs, Winston Guy is just a beast, he block the ones that were missed. I wish the best of luck to him and the rest of the knights.
  8. I dont think male is going to be the team coming into this game with a chip on their shoulder...X owes male on two accounts from last year--X is coming into this game with a vengeance, and male better be ready. It will be a great game
  9. Dont get me wrong, Trinity is a solid team-perhaps the best in KY, I just dont think they're ready for size and brute strength of X. I think T will score (Stein to Dutton) but Phillips is going to have a hell of a time trying to get through X's Defense. X will defend their house, and especially if Ashley plays-Im sorry boys...its lights out for Trinity. Best of luck rocks...you'll need it. X- 42 T-6
  10. Ben Bosscher kicked for Air Force and was heavily recruited by UofL, OSU and UofK. Not NAIA
  11. It was definitely a rocky start, but that is to be expected in the first game of the year, without the huge presence of Matt Smith and Nick Heuser. We also suffered the loss of Ben Devine-Nick's backup-in the first series. But in all, I think that the St. X seniors stepped up when they needed to, and made it happen. My hat is off to LB Nate Combs, DB Conner Hale and LB Jack Hilt on defense they all played a hell of a game. On offense, TE Ben Brown made two huge plays for big yards when the tigers needed it. WR Kevin Brinkman also made a huge 4th down conversion in the red zone that was followed by Joe Montano's run for the TD giving the Tigers the lead. QBs Ben Zoeller and Matt Brutcher(junior), were both a little jittery at first, but settled in by the end. And how about kicker Andrew Bosscher--Im excited for the rest of the season, once we get Smith and Heuser back, theres no way to go but up!
  12. If you want to find a good youth wrestling program, you should talk to the coach from the high school he plans to attend, they normally have a program that they prefer.
  13. Victor's recovery should be fairly quick. I wouldnt even rule out playing time at Manual in a week. The St X trainers will have Vic back on the field sooner than we would expect--I'm sure he is in great hands.
  14. Josh was backboarded as a precautionary measure, he was transported, and the ER cleared him later in the night. He was in school today. Good to see him alright!
