I want to pick U.K. really bad and being at home gives them a good shot. I had picked Florida to win the SEC before the season started and with the exception of a short span earlier this season, they have looked the part. Florida, like every team on the schedule, has more experience and with a couple of very good Seniors (especially Allen ). U.K. is still showing to be "soft" when challenged. Combined with the Gators leadership and I hope I am...

Going in imo most of us knew that this one was going to be a back alley fight. That's how SC plays and they certainly whipped the Cats physically and there was little answer to it. I think that SC intimidated U.K. with the physical play. This U.K. team has to get tougher, when SC pushed the Cats around, our guys let them. Foul trouble for both teams, U.K. playing shorthanded a couple of players got hurt the most by it. Even at that, when...

I'm not a Duke fan, far from it so I can't answer that. I do however, know what you mean.bc I have questioned the same thing about several U.K. teams in past years.

Agreed, they could make an argument for # 1., imo they are a final four caliber team.

BTW, I tried to edit my earlier post but was too late ....I would put Kansas a the 6. spot, drop the others a spot.

Huge Kansas win at WVU last night. Kansas hit big shot after big shot down the stretch to bring Kansas back from 16 points down in the first half, as the Jayhawks held off No. 6 West Virginia 71-66. A person watches that game, Bill Self's team and there's a perfect example of why that they have 13 consecutive Big12 championships. ( I think it's 13 ?)

I agree on how that Miami wasn't playing it too smart down the stretch. That was a very impressive Duke comeback on the road. Duke really turned up the intensity, defense and deserved the win. I think during one stretch Duke had something like a 16-0 run, or close to that.

Not a huge OSU Basketball fan but I will say that they're my favorite Big10 team. I have watched them a few times this season and was impressed. I believe that Grant is right about the Buckeyes hiring the right man as coach.

U.K. Asst. Coach Kenny Payne says that the coaches aren't going to push Vanderbilt's return. Possibly the Florida game ? Coaches are leaving it up to him (Vanderbilt). Kenny Payne on Vanderbilt: 'His speed is unbelievable'

Any road win is a good win and with the trouble that the Cats have had playing in Memorial Gymnasium thru the years then this was a really good win. My man Gabriel led the team in rebounds again w/ 9, along with Washington's 8 reb., led the team in out rebounding Vandy. Gabriel also made some key "hustle" plays in this one. G-Alexander keeps looking good every time out, 22 pts and leading the team again. Knox finally drove to the basket some...

This one was a needed conference "W", Any conference win is a good win. Yes, this team still has a long way to go, no question. .. Yes, they should've closed the game out better than they did.... Yes, the FT shooting was bad at only 64%.... FT shooting at only 64%, has to improve imo. ... Yes, we got a break at the end with a no call on the obvious foul and ....NO, I don't apologize or credit it for for the win bc we all have seen end of...

This game was another game that was deserving to be a championship game. Another instant classic just like the previous two Bama / Clemson games were. An "Onions" call by Saban to switch qb's at half. Should've Saban left Hurst in then UGA are the champions today, jmo. Nick Saban shows once again why he is the best coach in CFB, maybe ever although it's hard to compare eras in any sport. Georgia showed why they were there and deserved to be...

O.K., the sky is not falling and the sun did rise in the eastern sky this morning, it's not the end of the season. What this was is another loss at UT / Knoxville, a place where historically the Cats have had trouble. We all have watched even great U.K. teams struggle, lose at Knoxville. I had predicted that UK would lose this one in the prediction thread. As for the entire game itself, I was overall pleased with the 1st half. U.K. was...

One terrible half (2nd half in this case) or game doesn't indicate going backwards.....just say'n. At least imo it doesn't. Vanderbilt seems to be getting closer, that should help.

Being a Blue Blood U.K. Basketball fan, I would hate to see them get G. Marshall. Why ? ...BC the man can flat out coach basketball. There's not many better coaches in NCAA bb than Gary Marshall and having to facing his teams would be tough to say the least. Then again, UK has handled Pitino at U.L. fairly well through the years and Rick Pitino took a back seat to no one when it came to coaching, he's one of if not the best coaches in the...

^ ^, I literally was just logging in to post this thread, great minds think alike :lol2:. As for the game, U.K. has been improving steadily and has these Freshmen's first SEC road game under their belt. This one however, is in Knoxville and U.K.'s troubles at Rocky Top are an entirely different animal. I have witnessed Very Good U.K. teams go into Knoxville and get beat by far worse Vol teams. U.T. this season is a good team, R. Barnes has...

Georgia is good ...Very good and has a team that can beat Alabama but I have to take Alabama. Saban is in a position that he's rarely in ....he can preach to his team the "no respect....everyone against you", "they think we shouldn't be here", etc. theme. We saw how they came out and beat Clemson soundly with the Tide's defense shutting down Clemson. Bama is playing "mad" with a chip on their shoulder plus they have a strong, now "Healthy" team....

Any road SEC win is a good win. The 1st half of this one was about as lackluster, poorly played half that I have seen out of this team in the season. Standing around, not moving the ball. One or two passes and shoot a 3 w/o even looking or taking the ball inside. Defensively, our guys were getting beat off the dribble with no one playing "help defense", picking up \ stopping the ball and letting them drive to the basket. 2nd half ....the Cats...

Especially this season, with the SEC so improved ..any conference win is a good win. This one gave the U.K. freshmen their first taste of conference play and how intense that can be. My "hard work guy", Gabriel came up with 10 rebounds. I like him bc he does the "grunt work" that few notice but it wins games. G-Alexander, like in the U.L. game, came up big with his 21 pts (12-13 ft).. U.K. won this one at the FT line, shooting 71 % (27-38). FG...

I liked the going for 2 call that Stoops made. As for the game and especially the obvious terrible calls / no calls on NW that the Cats got, all I could think of is that especially the Referee (that made the chicken :poop: call) that kicked B. Snell out of the game ....Ol' white hat should've at least taken the U.K. Coaches and Players out for dinner, drinks and a movie first. No one can say if U.K. certainly would've won the game with Snell in...

This one was good game and Win for J.T. Barrett to send his OSU and BIG10 record setting career out on. Yes, fans got frustrated with J.T. at times but I don't think that anyone can question his heart, Barrett played hurt plenty of times throughout his Buckeye career. As for the game, imo both teams defenses made statements and shut the other down. OSU's defense, D Line was dominating. The imo overrated USC qb must still be seeing Scarlet and...
