Florida and U.K. were the only two I had out of this weekend. I did pick all to win their first one and Vandy lost

    # Some people. .............If I could buy some people for what they're worth ...then turn around and sell those same people for what they think that they're worth then I or my family and friends would never have any money worries again. :D

As long as Seth Myers, J. Nantz are with CBS, their fav is whover is playing U.K. ...and I have even forgotten who was calling the game.

SEC - SEC - SEC - SEC - SEC ...... :lol2: and Yes, I just had to. Topping it off was Coach K and players whining about a couple of late calls that didn't go their way when inside the 2-3 minute mark there were two of the most obvious wrong blocking calls on SC (instead of two Duke charges) that I have ever seen anywhere. Another ironic fact in this years tourney is that 3 SEC teams are in the S16 and only 1 ACC team. U.K. could very easily...

WHEW ! What a finish ! I along w/ others here have been on U.K's lack of defense all season and they stepped up big with the D in this one. ALL players contributed for a "Team" win. WSU ...imo is one of if not the best coached teams in America. They play hard, tough and will lock you down on defense. Today the Cats matched their opponet's intensity, especially down the stretch. Hawkins, Willis, Monk, Fox and Bam all stepped up and made plays...

NKU should be proud of that team and their program. For no longer than they've been D1 and winning a league like the Horizon, going to the dance in their first year of eligibility is impressive. Not to mention how very well coached they are. My disappointment in U.K. is the effort or seemingly little effort shown. Hopefully you're optimism proves true on Sunday. :thumb:

Not a lot to say here other than I was far more impressed with NKU than I was U.K.. No effort, No Pride ....the Cats just showed up going through the motions. Should U.K. play like this vs. Wichita State on Sunday ...then at least it's a short drive back to Lexington from Indy bc WSU will embarrass U..K, if they play like this ! Hopefully this one was a wake up call.

I hope that his son does well and I believe that he no doubt will, the kid is great talent. As for the old man ...all he is about is himself / how much air time that he can get for himself and the idiots in the media are giving it to him.

:thumb: Along with in the bracket with WSU, the team that U.K. Beat in the tourney to stop their unbeaten season. Region capped of with UNC, UCLA in the upper bracket ...potential rematches w / two of the most exciting regular season games this season. U.K. beat UNC, got smacked around by the Bruins. And the NCAA says they don't try to set up some games ....right. :lol2: Oh well, the Cats were going to have to play a couple or more good teams...

From what I heard it was the head hog, M. Anderson. I'm not certain but that sounds about right considering who we're talking about.

Another total team effort. U.K. stayed tough on defense (up until around the 5 min. mark), out rebounded the Lil Piggy's 40-26, humiliated them and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy than M. Anderson. Bam with 9 reb., 17 pts., Monk w/ 17 and Fox adding 18 to his tourney MVP play. My MVP was Dom Hawkins ! What a tourney he had ! U.K. doesn't win this without Dom's play. I was also proud of the class that all of the U.K. players...

They (Arkansas) always have been classless, it started with Nolan Richardson and Anderson has now renewed the classless tradition. Only this time Anderson can't back it up, doesn't have remotely close to the talent that Richardson had.

I was frustrated with Bama getting so many off. boards and out rebounding U.K. Aside from that, like yesterday I was impressed with the Cats defense today. D. Fox w/ 28 and him taking over down the stretch was key. Monk looked a lot better, getting his shot back (20pts. I think) and playing what seemed to be more focused overall. I still can't figure out that kid's (Monk) mind set half the time. A tournament win, get back to the hotel, get...

Exactly, when they get Bam the ball down low he should just turn and shoot / dunk and not pause like he often does. There are few that can begin to match up with Bam in the low post. .....go to the score and it's 2 pts., a foul or both

The U.K. defense was key in this one. I loved the way that they came out from the opening tip and took control. I didn't think and more important, I don't believe that UGA ever thought that they had a chance in this one. Briscoe with 20 pts., 8 reb ....he really stepped up and took over. Especially with Monk having such a bad game, Fox playing steady with Briscoe and going inside to Bam was impressive. Defense, especially w/ the job they did...
