As a lot have been commenting on the officiating, I 100 % agree. Those three weren't letting either team play. Should any player get close to an opponent ...that was a foul. I really liked the way that Gabriel played tonight and D. Fox may be one if not the quickest humans that I have ever seen, that guy can go around any opposing player or a number of them at anytime. Fox's two impressive drives for baskets in the final minutes ended...

After those 4 consecutive losses that Green Bay had, Aaron Rodgers made the presser statement that they were going to "run the table". I guess when he said that, he wasn't just talking about getting to the playoff .... he meant that they were really going to run the table.

By all common logic, N.E. should win. Due to those facts, I am going with Pittsburgh. Steelers by a FG.

The Chiefs are planning a protest / marches on the AFC championship game day .... are claiming the Steelers win wasn't legitimate and the final score doesn't count.... they had more TD's than Pittsburgh. :sssh: :D

Packers ... they are the hottest team in the NFL now and as long as A. Rodgers is playing, the Pack can win. He had his top two receivers out and still beat Dallas. G.B. is on a roll, every time they're counted out, they find a way to win.

#1 - Indiana ...(no question, I can get disgusted just hearing the name or seeing them, lol) #2 - Louisville / Duke / UNC (tough to name one, those 3 are pretty much equal bums to me :D)

:thumb::lol2: I am a UK Homer and make no apologies for it but yes, I agree the SEC at best is weak. Saying anything else and I would have to buy a "basketball for dummies" book. Each season I keep thinking the conference will be improved but it never pans out. South Carolina, Florida are U.K.'s only challengers imo, and they're not a great threat if UK is playing well. I thought that AI had an angle, was just having some fun with it.

I can honestly say that I am completely neutral, I hope that they both lose. Another fitting scenario would be for them to be tied, in something like the 20th overtime and a shot (from either team) goes up in the last second ....and a power outage, all lights go out with no one seeing if the shot was good or not. :sneaky:

I was disappointed on the U.K. defensive side again, this team to be special has to play better defense ....a lot better than today. Free throw shooting was also horrible at only 47 %. I was really looking for the Cats to come out and blow the tanning bed guy's team off the floor early and keep pounding them throughout the game. U.K., to me anyway didn't start really having fun and playing U.K. basketball, proving to the Tigers that they didn't...

At times, like this game I agree with you. We imo have seen flashes of what good defense they can play but just not enough of them.

 .. and the only thing certain is that the haters gonna hate and just when one thinks that's going away, a post like this one you put shows up. Lets see, going in the bowl season / playoff Bama was 12-0 / #1 and OSU at 11-1 / #4. I for one do not consider those records "fraud", if you do then o.k., that's you but don't state it as fact. ...just say'n. I had said in an earlier thread that had Penn St. been chosen for the playoff over...

About all I can say is that it was a conference win on the road and at Nashville vs. Vandy in what I call their "ancient museum". With those combined factors I'll take the win, happy to get out of Nashville with a 4-0 sec start. I thought that especially in the first half, after a quick start the UK defense wasn't as intense and was lacking. A lot of that had to do with Fox and Monk's limited time due to foul trouble. U.K, imo could've went...

Another interesting fact on this game ..With the win , Dabo Swinney became the first coach in NCAA history to have beat Urban Meyer and Nick Saban in consecutive games / weeks.

This was no doubt that this was the best ncaa championship game that I have ever watched. Only other one that compared was the Texas / USC game several years ago when Texas won. I always say that sometimes good things happen to good people and with Dabo Swinney and DeSaun (spelling?) Watson ... that was certainly proven true in this one. Both men are strong Christians and great human beings. There were too many key plays, great plays on both...

Is this one in Vandy's memorial coliseum / gym (the dump that should be listed as a museum :meh:) or at the Nashville convention center where they hold the SEC tourney when it's in town ? I am guessing Memorial, where Vandy has given UK and others so much trouble. If at Memorial, I pick the UK by 15.At the Nashville center, Cats by 25 +

Arkansas imo is an underrated team, not top 10 or anything but I do believe they're better than a lot of the people are thinking. 12-2 coming into this one isn't bad at all. U.K. started out a little slow and Arkansas came out hot, playing pretty well. A three point game at half I believe. As they will most teams (all in the SEC), U.K.'s obviously better talent combined with depth and teams cannot stay with them w/o getting in foul trouble and...

Personally, I think that part of that was about still being P'd about losing Monk. I also think that he didn't like Cal questioning the cheap shots by one of his players and getting the call. Whatever the reason I am pretty confident in Cal or anyone else losing any sleep over it :lol2:.

Coach K .... 1. I honestly, sincerely hope and pray his back surgery is a success, I know all too well about pain / neurological pain in dealing with M.S.. I have had back problems as well and one of my best friends has had 3 back surgeries w/ the last one the most extensive. I would never make fun, light of anything like that .... 2. As for his "forced to do" indefinite suspension of the pampered spoiled brat being 1 game - Absolute Joke. That...

As for this game, I was glad to see the intensity that the Cats played with, especially on defense. Forcing 15 first half turnovers / 25 total and keeping A&M off their offensive boards, they had 9 while U.K. pulled 18 defensive rebounds I believe and out rebounded the Aggies overall. M. Monk scored 26 points, 8/11 shooting. D. Fox had 15. IMO everyone looked pretty good. I think that they were just glad that "Camp Cal" is over so they...

I think the same of Ashley Judd's opinions as I do the rest of freak'n Hollywood .....you're actresses and actors, do your job and no one gives a rats patoot what you think of any business, politics or anything else for that matter. I think she's a good actress and glad she supports U.K. and all like that but I can form my own opinions ....thank you. :D Yes I know I went off a little on something meaningless but that's (Hollywood opinions) one...
