:thumb: I'm glad to see another stress rebounding on here. I always am a stickler on that. As for maybe this team learning ? As I said in my post, we'll see bc I have thought that a couple of times before.

Huge win, this U.K. team looked far better today against Bama. Rebounding was one big factor, especially on the offensive boards. Today was finally an overall effort with everyone playing hard. The Cats had 4, (maybe 5?) players in double figures. I actually saw these kids moving to get open, screening and passing the ball ! P.J. Washington had a good game, imo Quade looked very good, Knox hit some big shots today, a couple down the stretch...

I can agree with that. I like Knox but he doesn't play D and if anyone gets physical with him, he backs down.

Another game that the opportunity for a W was there and this team just flat didn't finish. These guys don't know how to win coming down the stretch. Main reason for that is imo there is no leader, not one on this team seems to want to be "the man" / go to guy down the stretch. I thought that Washington hurt us several times with his play, or lack there of with mistakes down low that should've been scores. Diallo ? he can look good on one trip...

I live watching Cincinnati play. They have always been a top notch defensive team and this year they have the offensive play to go along with it.

I don't know how or if it's affecting the other players but I do agree that Diallo is all about himself. Maybe he feels entitled to a spot bc he was here last season, I don't know but he needs to take a seat down the far end of the bench, other side of the walk on's.. Then see how he likes the view from there.

I absolutely Loathe Bruce Pearl and fully admit that it's not in me to pick any team that he has, is or ever will coach no matter the teams playing them ............:lol2: Kentucky will come together to send the tanning bed coach into excuse making mode. U.K. 82 Auburn 73

Auburn is on top in the SEC and the two teams are heading in opposite directions. It's unbelievable to ask this but does U.K. have a chance on Wed. night ?

There's no other way to say it other than this got really embarrassing for a while. Not bc of losing, rather the wha looked like not caring, flat out lazy play at times. I was actually happy with some of what I saw in the first half. A&M is a good team that has finally gotten it's full compliment of players back from early injuries and suspensions. On the road vs. a good team and going in at half up by 4 wasn't bad. Then A&M came out playing...

:thumb::idunno: A few years ago, I named the team that couldn't get in The Tournament and lost in the first game of the NIT ...."The Uncoachables. I may end up calling these guys "Uncoachable's II". Cal has to be beating his head into the wall. Seems that nothing can get this group inspired to play a full game.

That's fine and your opinion as I have mine, to avoid repeating further, check my response to futurecoach above. I've already given the L. Ball clown too much mention :lol2:

Unbelievable, they knock off Duke and Villanova (two potential F4 teams) back to back.

I respect your and others opinions, I just disagree. All I see is a man that wants to make a fortune out of his son's talent. What attention that he is drawing and practically all I have heard from various commentators was negative to say it mildly. When an NCAA basketball coach turns down Ball's son bc he didn't want the distraction and drama the parent brings with it then there's a problem. These are just my opinions as you and others have...

I think that I may have said this only once or twice through the years bc I don't like blaming coaches for a loss, bc I have been there with coaches in my family. However, I will say that in this game ...the U.K. players and coach choked and leave it at that.

As for the bolded, I agree and would add that on the last possession this team was obviously confused on what they wanted to do. I am not sure but I think that Cal had a time out left and imo he should've taken one to set up a last shot. That ...no t/o's is Cal's thinking in that situation, I have heard him say that before. One particular time was when at Memphis ...he lost a national title to Kansas with a scenario almost like that.

I had explained that in my post ....living through his children. Maybe bc he wanted to be that good or something :meh:. That combined with wanting in the spotlight as much or more than the ones that it should be ....his kids. Maybe he gets a charge or ego boost from everyone talking about him, I don't know and could give a flip less. Should the latter be the case then he's made it, plenty know who he is and wish they didn't and or maybe need a...

UT is playing some very good basketball and it seems that Rick Barnes has them "all in", believing in him and playing hard each time out. The Vols handed the Cat's rear ends back to them in Knoxville but this is in Rupp. Big Difference ...or should be. I guess that we may find out if these U.K. kids have any pride in U.K. / UT rivalry tomorrow night and step it up, play for the name on the front of the jersey. I am disappointed but haven't given...

OSU has obviously hired the right man to coach, lead their basketball program. C. Holtman has the Bucks are playing hard and for each other and is a class act.. I love his style of coaching and the way they play the game.

Why is "daddy dearest" even being mentioned ? Not just here, i'm talking more of espn, foxsports, cbssports, etc.. Can't people see that's exactly what this loser that's living "through" his kids instead of "for" his kids. That's just really pathetic.

No one seemed to show up offensively today. There was a lot of standing around, not making the "extra" passes, ending in taking some terrible shots (Cats shot only 31.3 percent). The poor shooting included only 10% from 3 pt. rage, hitting just two of 20. I try to look for some, if any positives in a loss and did in this one. After looking at the stats, U.K. outrebounded Mizzou 40-36, as well as having more points in the paint (26-16). Also...

A great game that shouldn't have been. Vandy seems to always play U.K. tough and B. Drew's last place team played hard and truthfully should have won tonight. U.K. didn't really start playing hard until around the 15 min. mark or so. 17 down on Sat. and 14 down tonight, I don't like having to do this before the Cats start kicking it in gear. Another thing that drives me nuts about this team is how they fail to stop the ball, several times...

After my prediction poll prediction .....this is the finest tasting serving of crow that I've had, and that's quite a few. U.K. grew up some in the 2nd half, these young kids made a statement by stageing a comeback from 10 turnovers in the first 10 min. and 17 down at one point to winning in one of the toughest venues in NCAA bb to win at. K. Knox, with his 34pts tonight, started to grow up and actually wasn't backing down when someone put a...
