  1. Agree. This isn't the first time I've seen this from Coach Code, and it doesn't make it okay, alright, or excusable. I was at the Campbell/Brossart game.
  2. Not the case my friend, which I am done arguing after this post. I watched it with both eyes along with others who noticed the same thing. There was no celebration on the floor either. What is there to celebrate?....playing for third place? You are correct on one thing and that is that there were two questionable calls at the end of the game. Both were not fouls in my opinion.
  3. Tough and gritty game on both ends. A lot of missed calls on both ends, since I know that will be brought up. Deming pulls it out at the end off a missed free-throw. The biggest thing I noticed was the lack of class shown by the Brossart coaching staff in not shaking hands with Deming players and coaches after the game. Good win for Deming which moves to 7-3 and plays for third place tomorrow.
  4. I'll take Deming by three. They're hot right now and playing well since the ugly loss at Pendleton.
  5. Maybe. Didn't you predict Deming going 0-3? Don't quit your dayjob. :thumb:
  6. This was a good game, but to say that St. Pat held the King twins to four first half points is somewhat of a stretch. The defense wasn't great on either side of the ball. Deming was non-existent in the paint on defense and St. Pat relied on grabbing jerseys as their method of "containing" Deming. Kyle King sat out most of the first half with three fouls, and believe me, they were "ticky-tack cracker jack" fouls. The refs called them this way for both squads. I thought this was the worst part of the game. There were touchy fouls called on both teams.
  7. This game will be tough. St. Pat has a lot of experience and two great players in Owens and Anderson. This will be a good game for a very young Deming team. Defense will be key for Deming. Hinson will likley put some crazy defense on Kyle King or Luke King (whichever one is killing St. Pat). I look for a zone, box and chaser from the Pats, something Deming hasn't seen thus far.
  8. It was a great game. King Twins chipped in 35 of the 59. This team really needs the other players to step up their games as well. Caleb played very well and if the Devils can get Nathan Mitchell and Garth Grause to hit some shots, this team will be a good team. The team defense against Bourbon was great!
  9. I like the King twins and think they'll be the players to watch for Deming this year. Unfortunately, Deming will have a thin bench, so these two may have do much more than they are capable being only Freshmen. They played well and were key in many of Deming's wins last year as 8th graders.
  10. Why? Who are you to say that the kid shouldn't play? He and his brother have been the best two kids coming off the bench all year for Deming. My question is why wouldn't he play?
  11. Great win for the devils. Congrats to the team and staff for a nice year. There is no way in heck you can convince me that they don't have a shot at winning the district. GO DEVILS!!!
  12. First time I've heard anything like this....Figures, ...that it would be someone from Bracken that suggests this..:thumb: :madman:
  13. Thought I'd chime in....GREAT WIN for Deming...I am a bit shocked by all of the surprise that Deming beat Bracken. They already beat Bracken at Deming, although Deming has played up and down all year. Could be some tough times ahead for Bracken. Who picks up the scoring and rebounding, etc. from here/next year? Also, Bracken's middle school hasn't beat Deming's in at least 2 years...
  14. I am happy too. We got homered my senior year when playing at Silver Grove.....Karma baby...straight karma...., plus, Deming outplayed the Green trains...I mean big trains...
