Does anyone have any thoughts on the Kentuckiana Summer League sponsored by Hoosier Hill Hoops and played at Waggener and New Albany in June? Apparently in its 4th year - levels of teams, well organized, etc.?

Q: Why did you transfer from Eastern? A: I was supposed to go to Kansas and move in with my aunt and play there, but then I decided not to go because my mother ended up being sick (she’s fine now), so I ended up staying. And then Coach Ponder, he called me and said, “We can do some things over here,” and I decided to come here. How did she not have to sit out 1 year? (She never moved and moved back). And I thought coaches could not recruit? (we can do some things over here...) For all the smack the private schools get, this is published for all to see.

Jesse - go back down that list and tell us how many would not be exactly where they are if they had not chosen to play for Premier? Boley's success based on Premier? Hammond's success based on Premier? Epps success based on Premier? I understand being proud of alumni but be careful not to overstate the role of AAU in all of them.

I thought it was Coach Mariam? But yes, program chasing the other two.

I don't agree that Mercy will be better this year regardless of Anderson's health. Also think North Bullitt is underrated.

What about the exception to the transfer rule (Bylaw 6) - Section 3 of the Bylaw states that "a waiver of the period of ineligibility is not required to be granted for those students satisfying one of the exceptions in Sec 2... if a student participates on a nonschool (i.e. AAU, American Legion, club settings, summer program, etc.) team that is affiliated with or coached by a coach associated in that same sport at a member school and the student then transfers to the member school where a coach is employed (paid or volunteer at any level)" ?

Question - Kid played varsity for a school as freshman - Family moving to a different location after divorce - Kid played AAU for assistant coach at the proposed new school one summer - Transfer allowed or denied?

I am hearing that the North Bullitt coach is interested?

Nick Lepera is the new coach - coached JV in Virginia and is moving here to also be a PE teacher at the school.

Thought Padgett was on the Regional Title team - guess not. Tough way to lose missing FT's with your best shooter - but once Trinity switched to man X could barely make a pass, making OT easy for Trinity.

Pass - I find that very hard to believe that they passed the ball 10 times and tried not to score with a running clock after the 35 point differential. I know you are in the SHA family but that is silly rationalization. How about holding the ball for 30 seconds or more before starting the "10 pass offense"??? (I'm assuming Seneca was not 'pressuring' the point guard into starting the offense). How about NOT scoring over 100 when they had 99 (which was bad enough). I think this was more about SHA's "if you don't want us to score, stop us..." mentality than it was about how bad Seneca is...

Great coach in place and Morabito is not the only weapon. Fellow senior has some talent and really nice sophomores in place - I also think Morabito is much more than a spot up shooter.

Know for a fact that someone was available that could have gotten a head start on long term rebuilding that had been in the mix in the last interview process - apparently, OC hiring requirements apparently prevented them from getting an 'outsider' at this stage - however, as I say that, who is the person helping them out? Is it someone at the school/does that person have a chance to stay as coach if he does a good job?
