  1. Indiana has pretty much lost all relevancy. But a UK-IU home and home makes sense to me. Maybe recapture some of the good old days.
  2. Does anyone else think that Pope might be a placeholder to get Reed to stay? Because he and Reed’s daddy were roomies? That’s one conspiracy theory I’ve heard.
  3. Maybe Mad Dog and Stephen A were right.
  4. The only regular season UK game I’ve seen that didn’t involve peach baskets was about 14 months ago. Pearl’s Tigers got boat raced by nearly 40. Now he seems to be a frontrunner. How things change.
  5. That was the final. The four series to date: 2-1, 2-1, 1-2, 1-2.
  6. Yeah, Stephen A laughed that one off right away. He didn’t like UConn either; said there was no place to go from here but down. His number one was Duke. He liked Michigan as well.
  7. Mad Dog’s reasoning. No coach wants to come home to his 8 year-old kid crying because his classmates told him that his dad sucks because he lost to LSU.
  8. It’s probably been said before, but Kentucky has never hired a coach who previously won a national championship.
  9. Mad Dog and Stephen A just had their top five college basketball destinations for coaches. Lexington wasn’t on either one of them.
  10. Agreed. Partly because room for improvement is so great, but agreed.
  11. It’s a cliche, but the better team won. And the deeper team. I think they said that bench points were 37-0 SC.
  12. I’ve thought all along that Purdue (along with a healthy Houston) is the only team capable of hanging with UConn for forty minutes Huskies were ranked #1 for seven weeks, Boilermakers for five Should be a good one
