  1. Give them lots of credit very good defensively and strong inside Scott had no room inside at all but really never tried to post up just kept shooting from outside. Scott is soft in the middle everyone wants to play on the wing no muscle inside. They are very beatable especially when the 3 is not falling for them.
  2. Many people thought this would be a better game. Scott looked horrible no inside game at all could not make jump shots. To me it seems all of Scott's players stand around the 3 point line to much and when they don't make 3 pointers it is rough for Scott because no body posts up anymore at all it seems. Trinity packed it in on Scott and were to strong for the Eagles especially inside the lane. Scott struggled with Trinity's press careless turnovers. I am sure Coach Carr will address this and get the Eagles back on track but a 4 and 4 record at this point is not what I expected from the hype the Eagles were getting before the season started.
  3. You are right he does play a good point and distribute the ball to open teammates. I was stating that he is struggling with his shot and scoring right now. Scott has no bench you are right on that one but they might need to utilize some others other than just Farris. This will be the big thing for Scott as the season goes on this will make or break them especially when their starters are in foul trouble.
  4. Scott even though they are not kicking on all cylinders will handle Holly Cross.
  5. Did not say he wasn't a good player just struggling the first few games this year. That happens his shot just isn't falling yet but I am sure it will. Right now Keylo and Niederrigger are the best out of the starting five but I am sure Kellen will be there soon. Scott needs bench help more than anything right now.
  6. Can't say much about Male or Lexington Catholic because I was not at them games but Mason is not the Mason of the past years. I am not saying they wont get there because the Scott game was only their 2nd game but speed wise and interior play just didn't seem like it has been in the past years.
  7. Scott does not deserve to be in the top 25 at this point. After watching them play against Mason they seem to be a little soft on both the offensive and defensive boards they get pushed around alot inside. They better start utilizing their bench more or the starters will be worn out half way through the year. Keylo Jones as of right now is Scott's best all around player. I think a couple other players read to many articles in the paper and have not performed to their potential after 4 games. It is early and Scott has time to turn it around but all the starters need to be performing and if that happens Scott will go far.
  8. Guys lets remember this year was a rough year for the Eagles they really didn't do much. Sowder was definately the man for Scott this year and without him Scott is really a shambles. It will be rough for Scott next year for sure but they will have a nice turf field though. We as fans got to sit back and think they didn't improve much at all this year compared to last. I think that Coach Campbell is a good Coach and possibly can turn it around but it will take at least 5 to 6 years because he is trying to build up the middle school program at Woodland. I do think however that his Assistant Coaches aren't very knowledgeable when it comes to football and he might need to think about more experienced replacements.
  9. Who really cares about SK doing an onside kick ? To me being an Eagle fan I didn't mind it sometimes you need to practice things in a live game to see what happens. The only complaint I have is why the kid from Scott stood there and watched the ball go right by him and didn't even try to get it. That needs to be taught by the Coaching Staff that you don't stand there and watch the ball go by you on an onside kick. The thing I did like the most about the game is Scott never gave up they tried hard all the way til the end.
  10. Scott fan forever but come on guys Highlands toyed with Scott on that first drive. Game this week for Scott can really get ugly quick especially playing a County rival Miles big game probably breaks 2000 yard mark for the season I believe he needs 300 and some change to do it.
  11. I agree Highlands facilities do need to be addressed. Football program is top notch and has been for quite awhile.:ylsuper:
  12. Open enrollment does hurt the football program but I guess it evens out in other sports because I know for a fact Scott gets kids from open enrollment in their other sports like basketball and baseball. We will have to see if Coach Campbell can turn the corner with football or not better facilities could help which are coming soon.
  13. Highlands wins big in this one. I would love to see Highlands and SK in a game this year that would be a good game I believe.
  14. What does that have to do with how kenton County Board of Education spends funds in the County. Miles is good and wish him all the luck in the world and I hope SK makes another championship run but that is besides the point. Scott basketball and baseball 2 district championships and regional finals for baseball equals new gym for Scott. LOL
