  1. This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP dot-com Player Of The Week is Highlands' Austin Collinsworth. This 6'2" 210 WR/KR/PR/DB had a drive killing interception, 3 catches for 63 yds...including a huge 3rd down catch to keep the opening drive alive and 107 yds in kick returns, featuring a scintillating 87 yard return for TD. Austin also caught a 2 pt. conversion as Highlands defeated Whitley County 42-16 to move into the 5A State Finals game to defend their title!
  2. We Have A Winner! SR., RB/PR Mark Kelly of NCC scored 6 of the 8 TD's in NewCath's 54-19 victory over DeSales. Kelly scored on runs of 8; 10; 8; 5; and 52 yards. He also took a punt back 49 yards for a score. He had 14 carries for 158 yds on the night. Plus an 82 yard KO return!
  3. This week's Player Of the Week--no contest. Corbin Redhounds Senior Michael Campbell: FB, MLB, Kicker, & Punter. In a win over Bath County, he ruches 6 times for 126 yards and 2 Touchdowns. He also kicked 2 pats and a 22 yd Fieldgoal, had two Punts 1@50yds, 1 @42yds and 17 Tackles. Six Solo's.

  5. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com Player Of The Week is Mason County Royals senior tailback Jeremy Thompson. Jeremy rushed for 245 yards and six touchdowns on 19 carries in Mason County's first-round playoff win over Magoffic County. The 6 TDs tied a school record. In addition, Thompson shattered Mason County's single-season records for touchdowns and rushing yards, and now has 30 TDs and 1,532 rushing yards on the year.
  6. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps dot com Player Of The Week is Frankfort RB Quan Weaver. In last week's win over Garrard County, Weaver rushed for 327 yards on just 17 carries. That's an average of just over 19 yards per carry. Weaver also score 4 touchdowns, and threw a 33 yard td pass of the halfback option.
  7. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com Player Of the Week is Eminence High School's Ed Berry. Eminence's QB went down last week with a sprained hand. So, SR WR Ed Berry had to play QB this game. He had: 21 carries for 289 yards and 3 TD, 1 Xtra Pt.; 2 receptions 44 yards and 1 TD; 1/2 passing 18 yards; 2 returns for 22 yards. Total of 373 all-purpose yards.
  8. Sorry this is late gang--politics has been getting in the way this week! Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com player of the Week is Trevor Smith a 6'0 215lb. Sr. LB/OL from Trimble Co. Trevor had 19 Solo tackles and 3 asst. for a total of 22 tackles and a fumble recovery. Trevor also plays OL and graded out at a 97.5% Trevor carried the ball twice for 10 yards and a TD in the Raiders 50-0 win.
  9. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com Player Of the Week is Harlan County Senior Nathaniel Gilliam. Nathaniel rushed 19 times for 426 yards and 7 touchdowns in their 58-36 win over Middlesboro. He had touchdowns runs of 81, 79, 79, 58, and 53 yards.Nathaniel also had 2 Tackles, 5 Pass Deflections, and one tackle resulted in a safety.
  10. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps dot com Player Of the Week is Clay County QB Zach Lewis. Lewis became Kentucky's career passing leading Friday, completing 22 of 31 passes for 396 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers' 39-25 victory over Perry County Central. Lewis, a senior who has started since his freshman season, now has 12,495 career passing yards and surpassed the previous state record of 12,167 held by former Leslie County and University of Kentucky star Tim Couch.
  11. For the first time, and hopefully not the last, our player of the week is an interior lineman. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com Player Of the Week is Raceland senior Robbie Logan. Robbie is a 6'4", 260lb OL/DL. He had three sacks against 4A Greenup County, in the first quarter for a combined loss of 24 yds. He also picked up a blocked punt and returned it 25 yds for a TD. Robbie is also credited with 6 solo tackles, 1 assist.
  12. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP dot com Player Of the Week is Pulaski County QB Chris Muse. In a 61-60 OT win over South Laurel--Muse rushed for 205 yards and 4 TDs, and he passed for 171 yards and a TD.

  14. Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com Player Of the Week is QB Charlie Banks from Letcher Co Central. Charlie was 9-13 passing for 117 yards. Rushed 11 times for 106 yards. He also scored four touchdowns on runs of 8, 16, 9, and 27 yds.Also kicked an extra point. His 25 points sets a new single game scoring record for the Cougars.
