The 14th region is represented by SS Riley Hendrix, Leslie Co. and SS Keenan Muncy, Powel Co. Quinton Morgan signed D-1 which is an automatic invitation, he's from Leslie Co.

Congraudulations to the Knights. With the pitching staff they will be hard to handle. Michael Fahs is one of the most underated pitchers in the state. Lipscomb University has found a diamond in the rough with this kid

Ryan Howard of Leslie County will be hands down the best running back in the 14th this year if he doesn't quarterback.

I thought all this fussing back and forth was pretty funny until I read the post that the catcher used foul languge. I have known him since he was 13 years old and I can say that if he did this it was his first. I happen to believe the opposite. He is a very good kid very repectful of the people he's around. I can't even start to imagine that he used foul language. The game is over and Catholic is in the playoffs. Danville has a excellent team and will be good next year as well. Good luck to Paul Morse and his team.

I'v watched Witten play for several years. He has continually gotten better each season. I've seen numerous players over the years not only in KY but several other states. What I'm getting ready to say is debatable and that's OK. Rich Witten could very well be the best player in the state this season. I also predict he will skip college and accept the draft offer that's coming his way. Paul Morse has done an excellent job preparing this young man from his youth up. I look forward to watching him play this summer with the Morse Baseball Academy summer team. If things hold true to the past, the scouts will be buzzing around this team all year.

That is a first for me. It doesn't matter who the host school is. The top seed is always the home team. Does this mean that Danville will be the visitors tonight against Lincoln Co. ??

Danville had a good win last night against a team that could have spoiled the big dance for Paul Morris. Rich Witten had a sub par performance on the mound but made up for it with the 33" stick going 3 for 3. CJ Lynn had another good outing behind the plate (nothing strange) to keep his team in the reality zone. Congradulations to the Danville gang. Just in case you get a little cocky or over confidence, remember what Lincoln Co. did to you a few years back. Look for a big game tonight from CJ Lynn going against his old team mates. I know Scott Cornett coach at Alice Loyd College is eagerly awaiting for his arrival in Pipa Pases. Good luck the rest of the playoffs and don't cause Paul to have to turn his hat around backwards.

Another great game between two very good teams. I'm very impressed with the Lee Co. team. The players coaches and fans are a class act. You make your county proud I'm sure. In talking with the players at Leslie they really enjoyed playing a good team like Lee. You only get better playing good competition. Good luck to both teams and don't get blind sided along the way to the Region.

Lee Co. has a very good baseball team. The kids seemed to have a lot of respect for the game. Lee is one of the best places I've been for a baseball game. They do things the way they should be done. That say's alot for the coaches, players and fans. Good luck and hope to beat you guys tonight at Leslie. P.S. Osborne is the real deal.

Congradulations to SW. They have a good team with a very good coaching staff. One of the best fields in the state. In talking with some of the fans they are very proud of there facility and should be. It's sad that the umpire was in a big hurry to go somewhere and caused the game to end the way he did. It wasn't fair to the SW players or Leslie.

Jeremy will make coach Cornett a very good player. He has the work ethic and skills to go along with it. I look for him to be an impact player right away. Good luck

Cumberland has a very good team. One of the best outfields I've seen in a long time. Leslie smacked the ball all over the field. They had very good pitching but Leslie knocked the cover off the ball. Leslie has a very solid team. The infield is almost flawless even with two starters out.
