I believe Urlacher also returned punts in either High school or College...How'd you like to have to tackle that??? When I think of Highlands LBers names like Marty Moore, Corey Scarlato, Mike Mcgraw, and Jeff Kramer come to mind as well. Although I think Kramer played Safety at Highlands and later moved to LBer at UK!!! Either way, I agree HHS has put out some LB's!

No Doubt the atmosphere in the Birdcage won't be the same as it was Monday night, but I don't think Coach Schlarman will allow his team to overlook the athletic Wildcats! The Loser still goes home and the players know that, so I'll take Highlands 64-47!

Give me a break on the banter about the officiating!! NCC hung in there for a little while, then the Birds got after it and pulled away! The officials had no say in the outcome of the game, so don't even go there! Now the birds have to get over the win and get ready for the next one! They have an athletic team coming to the Birdcage tomorrow night! Still have to win this one to get to the region!

I agree totally.....When something seems too good to be true, usually it is....With a record like Coach Campbell has had during his tenure at GC, it makes no sense to take the Scott High Job and commute about 45 mintutes one way...It just doesn't seem like this is for the long haul, but who knows! Either way, Good Luck to Coach Campbell and the Eagles!

Poor numbers in the Senior Class in 2007 really hurt the Cats...I know they have some athletic Sophomores on the way! I believe they will be much improved in 2008 and should be back in the Class AA playoff picture. Who are the top returning players for the Cats in 08? Has there been any off-season staff changes?

Other than the Turf Field (Which is probably 4th/5th best now in No Ky), what HHS facilities are very impressive? None that I can think of... Weight Room is out-dated and small Locker Rooms are below average Gym is horrible Baseball/Softball fields used to bad (Don't know anymore) Track is below average unless it has been resurfaced in the last couple of years... My point is, for a school that has a winning tradition in most all sports, the facilities have not been upgraded much over time. Hopefully what we are hearing about expansion will correct some of these issues....

I've always felt that Henry Co is a place that tries to do things right! I thought Coach Martin and his staffs did a nice job and now Coach Engstrand and his staff is doing a great job! Congrats and keep up the good work!!!

Congratulations to Coach Schlarman on his 200th victory!!! I remeber watching his Brossart teams in the Fieldhouse during the 10th Region tournaments and thinking how hard those kids played!! Which was a testament to them and him! Keep up the good work!

Gardner Webb is Division 1AA. Former UK/Danville Player Chase Harp coaches at Gardner Webb and is probably the coach that is recruiting Cecil. Could anybody close to the situation verify that for us?

Let me tell you what you do when your up two with 10 seconds to go in the game and the other team has the ball!!!! YOU PLAY DEFENSE!!! You hope they take a 20 foot shot....They have about a 30% chance to make a three in a regular situation much less when the game is on the line! Second guessing coaches is human nature and I don't have a problem with it, but I laugh out loud when I read some of the posters on this site because they don't have a clue!!! Foul at midcourt when you're UP 2???

Didn't Coach Mueller say that there were 7-8 DI seniors on this team's roster? Have those kids committed to go to schools? Just wondering if anybody close to the program can get us up to date....

Name the last time Scott won more than 4 games.....I honestly don't know if they ever have? So your going to fire a guy that wins more games than any coach in recent school history? It just doesn't make any sense to me, but new AD and new Principal obviously want to head in a different direction!
