  1. I hope this one isn't as close as the first one! I think Russell was very fortunate the first time if they would have had a kicker it would have been over in regulation. IMO. GOOD LUCK RUSSELL!!!:fire:
  2. Does anybody know if the Albers an Carter kid are as good as I"ve heard? I belive Albers is the FB an Carter TB. I havent had a chance to get over to practice an watch yet. What about the O-line & D-line I heard of a couple of big kids that were sophmores were pretty good?
  3. Does anyone know when meet the CATS is? And who are they scrimmaging this year an when?
  4. Ashlands Putnam Stadium, AKA DEATH VALLEY. Lots of history there!
  5. I am not sure about that, but the way I heard it he was going to keep teaching at Fairview an assist at Ashland? That sounds pretty strange but that is what I heard. Yes, Chad Cook did quit coaching not sure why though?
  6. I believe he is trying to get on with Ashlands staff, I think he will be there this fall. At least that is what I was told, with the opening made by Coach Jim Bentine when he left this spring.
  7. That is a true statement, you never know when a play starts or stops, they rarely give the score! With that said I didn't have to listen to them this week I saw it live! Man that was just about the coldest I have been! Well worth the trip, shame they couldnt pull it off. Congratulations on a great season Russell!
  8. Glad to hear Grim is up an around. Hope he makes a full recovery Johnson to! I hate to see things like that happen! Yes JC, I do have a heart when it comes to the players.
  9. Congratulations Red Devils on a BIG BIG win against a very good Belfry team! I for one will be making the trip to Louisville to watch this historic moment in Russell football history!:thumb:
  10. I was at the game, my wifes nephew is your QB! I happen to have quite a bit of history with the Red Devils. I pull for them every year in every game but one! But that doesn't mean I don't like to mess with some of you all though!
  11. Yea, he put his hand on it I saw that. Thats why I was wondering what happened I saw the corbin player down it, I turned away for a second an when I looked back clark was running down the field? I think that was the right call.
  12. Great job Red Devils, Tyler Jones played like a warrior, he made so many big plays I lost count he was everywhere O an D awesome!!! Hey FBALL I might be traveling to Pirate land next week going to try an get a trade for friday, might even have to pull out that Russell sweatshirt and hat from 1989 when my other nephew Steve Vallance, played it has been in mothballs all this time(I hope it still fits not sure I think I may have picked up 1 or 2 pounds? lol) might as well put it to use!! Like Coach Edwards said last night, he said they had 1 more year to win me over to be a Russell fan, I am pretty sure that won't happen but you can bet I will be pulling for the Red Devils all the way! CONGRATULATIONS RUSSELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fire: :fire::ylsuper:
