  1. Winning three tough games 90 minutes from home is tough for anyone. Simon has as good of a shot as anyone. Simon will be in the region. They are the 1 seed and will easily handle Williamstown. Gallatin will be there. 1 seed and should win their first game vs Owen or Eminence. These two teams may meet again.
  2. LCA has a quality big and several guards that can shoot. They made shots and forced WV's guards to have to shoot. They missed. Bonne is about 70%. He played on guts. LCA did not let Jones have any open looks. LCA is the better team. It wasn't anyone's fault. The better team won.
  3. Give Lloyd some credit. They are afraid to play them Saturday. I understand why, they have a better record than Spencer.
  4. Gallatin plays Collins, Anderson, Shelby, Simon, Holmes, Oldham, Grant, South Oldham and Walton Verona every year. Yes, I believe they are afraid of Spencer. Wow, what a take. They aren't allowed to practice or play until Monday. My guess is the trauma of potentially playing Spencer has infected the entire community.
  5. Football classification is a mess. The first two rounds are blowouts and generally the same 4 to 8 teams dominate each class. The current basketball format celebrates making the state tournament as much as winning it. I see no reason to change to classes.
  6. He has had a special run over the last ten years. Well deserved, a good guy who works hard at his trade.
  7. The original post says teams from Kenton, Boone and Campbell. Walton is in Boone County. Pendleton is ... Pendleton. It does not matter to me. It just seems like Walton would count.
  8. I never understand how Walton Verona is not part of Northern Kentucky. WV would be number 3 and Miles number 1.
  9. I didn't say they stacked up. The district is what it is. Basically five A schools. I think everyone in the 31st knows the other districts hope to draw them in the region. My point is several of the big schools have gone home early from a loss to the 31st. Owen, gallatin and Henry have advanced.
  10. Gallatin defeated Anderson at Anderson, Collins at Collins and Shelby at Shelby last year. Throwing shade at the 31st isn't always accurate. Five small schools, granted, but the 31st usually makes some noise in the first round of the region.
