  1. I was there. Cynthiana was flooded and no way out or in by 10;00 p.m. Had to evacuate when they did, or the HCHS gym would become a shelter for about 2,000 people. Coin Flip was(and assume still is) in the KHSAA handbook and had to be followed as region draw was the next day. Bourbon was behind at half time but won the coin toss for district champs.
  2. Wow. Didn't see this coming. This is why you play the game.
  3. The 10th is a two team race between BoCo and GRC. I could see one win the district and the other win the region the following week.
  4. Both teams missed free throws. Both teams had chances to control the game. In the end, Scott made more plays. Ohmer hit a couple big threes each time Scott was teetering at different spots in the game.
  5. Breds play together and shoot the ball well tonight. Scored off the pass vs the dribble. Having Turley back gives them a strong ball handler and a smart passer. Douglass struggles if they can't score off the turnover and Breds take care of the ball.
  6. I think EKU ought to outside the box and hire Allen Felhaus Jr. Great coach, EKU alum, vested in Richmond.
  7. Breds play the camels tough, fighting to the end Missed free throws stop the chances of an upset. Camels a solid club.
  8. Breds jump out to a 9-0 lead and never look back. Quenton Turley 17, Braden Bryant 13, Blake Price 13 lead the Breds. Nicholas led by Spencer Morris with 12 and Sam Hamilton with 10 lead the Jackets. Breds were short handed as Spencer Free and Tyler Linville both out with the flu. Breds give total team effort and give an excellent defensive effort .
  9. Breds get a victory on the road in Lexington. Breds control the pace, win the 50-50 scrambles, handle the Douglass full court man pressure, and hold on for the victory. Spencer Free with 16, Braden Bryant with 14 and Thomas Thompson with 10 lead Harrison. Head Coach Larry Kendall does not coach, under the weather. Assistant Coach Andrew Case at the helm for the Breds tonight.
  10. Breds played an all around game for the first time this season. Gave effort on D, ran an offense that got people good looks. 4 Breds in double figures.
  11. Harrison is very young. Sometimes they play well, sometimes they play poorly. Bracken will have the best player on the court. Crawford will get his points, the questions come down to the following: 1. Can Harrison contain the other Bracken players? If a couple are in double figures, Polar Bears win. 2. Do the young Breds play together and all step up when they need to do so? If yes then the Breds can win. If they play selfishly or don't hustle then they will look like they don't belong to be at the region. Only time will tell.
  12. Harrison got its best draw as well. Will be an interesting game.
