I've been reading what Booger and Joey said throughout the game, last night. The tendency is to down play South Florida's opponents. "Illinois is horrible. Temple is horrible." Temple returned a large portion of the defense that stymied USF in the Bulls' only conference loss, last season. Temple did win the conference last season. Don't be surprised if San Diego State jumps USF in next week's poll, regardless of this win.

Temple got into USF territory for the first and only time in the game with under 7 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. The score was already 43-7 and the second strings were in for...

The special teams made this an adventure. After the Illini scored with 2 minutes left in the 1st half, making it a one score game at 16-9, Quinton Flowers decided to take control. He stopped sliding and became the Q we Bulls fans have come to love. The game was basically over at that point, though I did not relax until the 4th quarter.
