  1. If you would have read the post, evidently you didn't, you would have seen that a pm has been used.
  2. Your research lisense is officially cancelled. 17 td passes and 16 int. Where you got 26 is beyond me. Double checked this with a stat man before post. Every stat you give is completely wrong. Any stat you ever give again will be contested by everyone on this site. Also you stated in one of your post that Nelson threw for twice as many TD's. 17Clay-13Bell Not only is your research aweful, your math is too. Watch the Bell and Ashland tapes if you think all passes are short. As an Ashland fan posted earlier about the game vs Clay. 422 yards passing is great, no matter who you are playing against. What was his stats against the great Bell Co. I think he threw a TD in first series and if I remember correctly, all the passes were down the field. You guys won but I believe he played pretty well against you. That's good competition isn't it. Also, Clay's TE had 57 catches this season. I don't think he was catching dink passes out of backfield or out routes. If he was I don't think he would have got all SEKC or All WYMT Mt team. I think there is a rule by posting false information on this website. You have done it 2-3 times already. I think a moderator should shut this thread down so you won't be suspended. I have tried to stop this from getting out of hand with you, pm you and then a post to end your false rants. I have even said to let the future determine argument. You will not take a hint. I ask you PLEASE, do yourself a favor and drop this. It's made me look bad but you much worse. I'M FINISHED!!! :walk:
  3. You have trouble with your research don't you. Look on KHSAA website, had more than 14 in regular season alone, not counting playoffs. You looked and looked to find one stat and then you got that wrong. Look, you have your opinions and most people have their's. Evidently, a pm doesn't mean anything to you or you would have seen that I said alot more football has to be played before decision is made. Stats, while heavily one-sided in this instance is just a discussion point for fans at this time. Not saying Nelson isn't a good player (if he starts QB for Bell he probably is) but I just haven't heard his named mentioned as much as some of the others. Let's end this discussion, please, by just saying there are alot of good QB's in this part of state to keep an eye on in upcoming years. I hope for success for all of them unless they are playing against us. ukbell14--with your research methods, PLEASE don't quit your day job!! j/k
  4. Everybody has these games during the season. The key will be how they react.
  5. Your defination of greatness is different than mine. :sssh:
  6. I see your point but I think some coaches can adjust more easily than others these days. Especially younger ones. A good judge of young talent can prepare his program for the influx of the talent coming alot easier than some of the older coaches and be ready. Seems like older coaches just look at whats on hand that year and hope they will adjust to system. You see Rock had to adjust because of their QB's throwing ability. How many kids have not gotten scolly's because of coaches scared of change. The mark of a great coach can and will adapt accordingly to their teams talent. "Willingness to be Complete". Didn't Breathitt run some sort of option this year because of talent. I think so!
  7. That's true, but the players abilities should dictate the system a coach runs. For example, if Hoskins has such a great arm and good recievers such as Farr, shouldn't he be throwing more. Alot of kids abilities are overlooked because of the same system run every year. A good coach will adjust his game to his players. In certain situations, it's called "flexible". As a moderator, you should enjoy other people's opinions instead of The question I answered included stats. Other people have good players besides Middlesboro/Bell.
  8. In your area it's Cashen. In your district, it's Clay's freshmen QB. I'm pretty sure he was way way ahead of Nelson in every QB individual catagory. I know that he more than doubled him in yardage. I think around 3400 including playoffs. Stats, individual performances, and head to head I would assume he won easily. Lots of good young QB's in mts.
  9. You have talked about Clay and home cooking all season. That must have been "Mason Take Out" with what went on at South. Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house. :irked:
  10. The substitution pattern helps Clay's offense because guys coming off bench seem to get the ball to people in the right spots more often to score. Look at assist to turnover ratio. Also, the change was made because it looks as though the two young guards play better together and look good together at top of zone defense. Jones looked real good attacking baseline and good full court defensive player along with Hibbard. Rotation looks to have more players confortable in roles. I'm talking seven deep anyway. We held our own on boards even when two big guys were in foul trouble. Had to play with 4 guards at one point. Remember, their is no dominate offensive player on team. It's going to be a different player most nights. Our guards are playing better every night(look at the made big shots in last 2 games) and our offense will follow. The problem on offense at the juncture you were talking about is it seems when our main inside threat went out, others take it on themselves to try to do too much. The results are forced shots and runouts by other team. Lead gone! Developing a trust in each other will help offense alot. No superstars, but alot of very talented players who must BECOME ONE!! MERRY CHRISTMAS PIG :dancingpa
  11. Losing those players has hindered Coach Messer. He will rebuild. Glad he's out of the 10th. :thumb:
  12. He is pretty good, but not the best in the area or district.
  13. Love to hear comments from people who really don't have a clue what's going on. Clay has shooters and can score. Work in progress. Most people who know anything about the team, knows it will probably be mid January before they start clicking. The comment by51513 about the crowd and didn't know what to do is nuts. Very composed the whole game for the most part. Especially playing so many players. Foul trouble and Jackson playing so hard is what made the game close.4 guards played alot together. Last years team would have quit when it got tight, not now. They made the plays when they had to. Some experience and lots of talent.
  14. A couple of ClayCo kids could have slipped in there at QB and running back in 3-A. Also, Blum is by far POY!!
