Boston is one player and role players. Toronto is 2 players and role players, Chicago is one player and role players, etc. If the Cavs had Irving and Love, and the same supporting cast but no James. They would probably play a different style, and practicing only with that style and knowing how to play without James would make them just as good as many currently in the East. It's easy to say they wouldn't be good without James when seeing how...

The Cavs are one of the most talented rosters in the East even without James. Yes they look rough when he doesn't play right now, because they are use to having him. If they never had him, and got to practice all the time without him to learn how to play without him. Then they would look much better and would be a top 4 team still in the East. The roster even without James is still one of the most talented rosters in the East.

Playing in the East is a big reason he has been to the finals so much. If he always played in the West, I think he has only 2 Finals appearances, but wins both of those appearances. I think his 2 title teams in Miami, win it even if they were in the West. All of his other teams don't make it out of the West imo. However that's a whole other debate.

The Spurs are great no matter who they have it seems. So value wise I don't think Kawhi is above Westbrook. The Warriors probably still win the West even without KD. So his value for the Warriors is not more than Westbrook. The Cavs still probably are a top 4 team in the East without LeBron. They may struggle currently when he is not in. However if he was not on that team and they were use to playing without him, they would still be a top 4 team...

I'm willing to do a one year retirement like match with you. If you are right I will leave this sight for one year. If you're are wrong, you leave this site for one year and under no other names, as soon as the season ends. I'll even give your prediction a 2 game boast and say I would leave even if they only get to 6 wins or less. You leave if they get 7 wins or more. So are you confident enough in your prediction in really thinking that, to...

Definitely a make or break year for him imo. Sure would have been nice to have Kizer back.

That would be awesome! Even though I have my doubts of him making it in the NFL, just based off his performance in college. I hope he completely proves me wrong and sticks around in the NFL for awhile even if it's just as a practice squad guy. He is a great role model and has always done things the right way, and would be amazing to see him be rewarded for all his hard work and make it in the nfl.

Very true. However that guy the Pats drafted had a 20 and 5 record as a starter. And Completed 62% of his passes in college, not just 50%. To put things in perspective. That guy the Pats drafted in the 6th round had only 6 qbs taken before he was drafted. So I would say he was probably rated around the 7th best qb coming out and not near the 19th rated. I get your point, but not the best comparison lol.

I agree. However I am waiting until after the draft to say anything for sure. This draft is one of the most important drafts they have had since the 2011 draft.

Maybe. Last year didn't look to difficult either before the season started. The NFC East was horrible the year before last year. So it looked like it wouldn't be to hard, but then the NFC ended up being possibly the best division in football. You just never know in this league.

Not really imo. As much as I would have loved to see him on a roster in the NFL. His numbers don't suggest he should be. He struggled very much with accuracy in college. He completed only 50 percent of his passes while at UK and had only a 51 completion rate this year at Boston College. That doesn't translate well to the NFL when passing windows are much smaller. He is the typical qb size teams want. However other than that, there is nothing...

I will wait until after the draft to make any predictions. The schedule looks very manageable though. Last year's did too at first though because the NFC east was horrible the year before and then ended up being one of the best last year. So you just never truly know how tough a schedule will be. I think in terms of when games are and who against, byes, and what not it played out well for the Bengals.

UK plays in Nashville that same weekend against Vandy when the Bengals play the Titans. So looks like I am making plans for a Nashville trip this November.

I can't wait to hear Hellbird opinion on this one. He isn't going to like this ranking I don't think. I think 15 is exactly what Lewis is. His record also shoes it. Not great but not horrible. His overall record is slightly better than average and this ranking has him right in the middle as average. His ranking looks about right to me.

Yes and no. Honestly I never even heard of Tyreke Hills problems until he started tearing it up last year and people talked about what happened. The whole country knows and has seen Mixons incident. The backlash with him will probably be national news.

Even though I think Corey Davis will be the better wr. I would be happy with this. I just think Williams is going to struggle to get seperation in the NFL. However I been wrong a lot lately, so he probably will tear it up.

They should have drafted Murray instead of Dunn they drafted last year. He would have added another shooter that they needed.

This is the first time in a long time, that the East actually is tough enough to make it tough for a LeBron led team to make it to the finals. Have to wonder how many titles or should say how many less titles LeBron may have if he had always played in the West.

First round exit to a top 10 1A team in the state is a pretty big jump. I hope you are right. I would love to see them continue to improve. I love seeing NKY small school teams make runs in the playoffs. What's their schedule like this year? Is there more competition to truly tell that they are a top 10 team? Or will it have to wait until the playoffs to tell?

At the end of the day Melo messed things up for himself at the end of his Denver days. If I remember correctly he was on the last year of his contract, and could have joined the Knicks at the end of that season or maybe the season after. Which if he would have waited instead of pushing for the trade. He could have joined the Knicks with the nice young talent they had in place. Instead he kept pushing for the trade right then, and the Knicks...

I think you're reaching quite a bit here. What other reasons would he need helmets that can be passed as game used. Imo that is pretty cut and clear. I think Eli simply messed up and probably didn't even think it was a big deal at the time or would ever catch up to him. Just simply admit it and move on. Compensate the people that it effected and move on. This will only become a bigger story the more it goes on.

I just watched it. I definitely enjoyed it. I admit I was not a fan of Cal at all before he came to UK. I know a lot of UK fans may not like it. However at the end of the day, what he does is truly what a coach should do. A coach should do what is best for their players and not what's best for himself or the program. Cal honestly with as good of a sales person as he is. Probably could have convinced some of these guys to come back during...

With his injury last year. Would he be one of those guys who theoretically could apply for a 6th year of eligibility? Or did the 2 full games he played last year cost him from applying for an additional year? I ask because if say he doesn't win the job this year. Could he possibly do the grad transfer route after this year and play right away and possibly have 2 years left still?
