Question what teams over this run that Covcath beat. That teams like a Scott County wouldn't have done the same too? What top 10 teams in the state did they beat in the state during this run? They are great and no doubt top 3 or 4 in the whole state the last 2 years.

To be fair anytime even in the last 10, 20, or 30 years when people have thought NKY had a team that could even play with Trinity. It usually got shut down quickly by Trinity once they got on the field. While it's great to think a team could do it. Until it happens again, Trinity gets the nod. Especially since Trinity always plays top teams from around the country not just the state and use to seeing those type of teams. While as I just...

Why is it hard to believe that they may not have beat those teams mentioned? While what they have done is very impressive. During this run, they haven't beaten a team that would be considered a top 10 team in the state when looking at the state as a whole or maybe one team at best.

Field position and Big plays is the difference so far. All 3 highlands tds came on tds of 30 yards or more. Besides those 3 plays it's been pretty evenly matched and no real sustained drives so far in this game.

Terrell Owens was a free agent until the start of Training Camp when he joined the Bengals, and he was 36 years old. I think most could say well that should tell you enough about him. He ended up being by far the best receiver on the team, and would have been a 1000 yard receiver that year, if he didn't miss the last 2 games with an injury. Dez Bryant is only 29 years old. IMO he is not washed up at all, he was more a victim of the QB change...

To be fair as quick as some UK fans are to hype up UK. UK fans are also the first fans to overexaggerate how bad they think a UK team is. Usually in January during conference play. UK fans are saying they are horrible, no way they get better. Be lucky to even make the tournament. UK fans are quick to hype up, but also quick to blow up.

Well first of all UK fans are foolish to act like it's a guarantee to win it all this year. Just look at Duke the last two seasons. Going into the last 2 seasons. Duke was supposed to be by far the best team in basketball and how could Duke lose. Especially when they have arguably the best basketball coach of all time. Yet they couldn't even make the final four the last two seasons. A second round loss and a elite 8 lost. So imo no even...

Yep! 2006 if they dont blow the snap against Denver or miss the kick against the Steelers. I would have loved their chances in the playoffs. A misconception is Palmer wasnt the same after his knee injury. 2006 Palmer had an amazing season still. The elbow injury in 2008 is what changed Palmer the most. Also losing Chris Henry first to his broken arm and then his death in 2009. Really hurt the passing offense. When Palmer had him in 2009,...

Yep only thing he doesnt have is Chris Henry's speed. Which is why he fell to the 7th round.

I dont think it should be that big of a concern. Basically all of Cals teams end up playing really good defense. Even though people like to freak out in January when conference play starts and thinks thats what they are and wont get better. Yet every year by March they are playing their best on both sides of the ball. I'm not worried about defense at all. They will he fine.

I been to about 4 practices. In practice Barkley has looked the part. However I feel like Driskell has more upside. So if Dalton were to go out. I feel like Driskell could fit in well with the first team.

I'm very happy with what I saw. I'm very excited about the changes they made, with coaches. I like the skill players on offense. I dont think the line will be great but should be good enough for them to have a good offense this year. I love that no one is really thinking of them being much. As I mentioned the other day. They were awful last year but still won 7 games somehow. There is no reason this team shouldn't be at least 3 games better...

I actually for the first time in probably forever I like the depth at LB. Aa for backup qb. Barkley better look better next game. The Bengals have always been high on Driskell. So as long as Driskell keeps looking the part. I wouldn't be surprised if he became the backup. He has been impressive the last two pre seasons.

Love how Herro plays. He has been talked about the least in this class, but I think he will be one of the biggest keys to this team.

I agree talent wise they probably are top 3 in talent alone. But I think say if Urban were to get fired, OSU would end up losing 2 or 3 and out of the top 10. I think some of the osu fans on here who have questioned Urban a lot and how he does things recently the last 2 years will quickly realize how great of a job he does and wasnt just about having talent.

The Bengals were absolutely pathetic last year. Worst line in football. Average qb at best no run game, all this equaled to worst offense in the league. Defense was on the field all game and by all accounts didn't do bad, but they didn't get quick 3 and outs to help themselves out. Yet with all that said they still managed to win 7 games. So I'm not sure why people are big on the Ravens. If they couldn't beat a bad Bengals team last year to...

The browns quietly have put together a decent team for this upcoming season. I'm a big Baker Mayfield guy. Which I think they could be even better if they played him rather than Tyrod.

I don't see it. But that's why they play the games. As for the scrimmage today. I'm sure it was good for both teams. Now the coaches on both sides have film, that they could use to teach their kids more. Plus for the kids it's always better to get to compete against someone else rather than own teammates every day. I think it's a positive that the state allows 2 scrimmages for everyone now. Imo it's hard for us fans of high school football...

I wasnt there to see the scrimmage today. So I just have to go by what you all say. However, If I remember correctly last year Ryle couldn't even put a running clock on Cooper. And Ryle imo may not be as good this year as they were last year, and Cooper should be better than last year. Ryle from games I seen has always been much bigger than Cooper. Even during the years when Cooper won 3 out of 4 against Ryle before Ryle won the last 2 years. So...

You keep believing what you want, that is your right. However now you just sound like the Lousiville people you use to say stuff to who defended their coach and program when they were in the wrong too. You are right files were never charged because the wife never filed for it. Doesnt mean Urban didn't know about things. 60 calls to police, and Urbans wife being friends with her and openly talking about it with her. Shows Urban knew it was...

You all seem to want to completely ignore the fact that urban knew even more about the problems than just 2009 and 2015. It's been shown that she texted his wife all the time about what was going on. So let's not act like 2009 and 2015 were the only things he knew about. At the end of the day nothing really has changed from 2015 to 2018. Except it being public knowledge. So no reason to fire him now though. I mean as you all stated no DV files...

Cleared himself of wrong doing? He could have fired him himself anytime. Instead he let a friendship get in the way of firing him, and decided to let someone else make the call so he wouldn't have to be the one. Especially when he probably knew a lot more than what his bosses at OSU knew. His bosses at OSU knew about 2015 because he had to tell them. They probably didn't know about the 60 other phone calls to police, that Urban most likely knew...
