The Bengals typically do well against Baltimore. Baltimore doesn't have the best wr options. So if he is going to miss a game, I rather it be against a team with not many threats at wr. Houston is tough, but they still have no qb. Plus the bad Bengals team last year with everyone hurt had Houston beat in Houston the second to last game of the year before Bullock shanked the game winner. Green Bay is tough but I believe it's been over 12...

Most of the research seems to have been to find out if football can lead to CTE. Besides finding out if a person had it after they died. There is not much else they truly know about what it exactly means though. They have listed possible symptoms people with it may end up having. However if you read the research on it, even the doctors say those symptoms really might not be related to that. Also how people can have CTE and not have any effects. ...

I would love to see by comparison what a CTE study would find in other sports like Hockey, boxing, UFC, etc. Is it strictly a NFL problem, is it an any contact sport problem. Could possibly only having like one or two concussions in your life lead to it. Also I just read a lot on symptoms for it. Two of the clinics that I read that have researched it listed possible symptoms with it. However stated still not sure if those symptoms are...

Yes and he wasn't even in his prime anymore and look what he did when he finally had a qb when he went to New England. Dillon definitely was the best Bengals back ever. James Brooks was good, and thought of more fondly because he played on better Bengal teams. However Dillon is probably a hall of fame running back if he played for anyone else.

Agreed! However he doesn't get the credit he deserves because the teams were so bad. While Brooks seems to get more credit mainly because people think more fondly of players on teams that win. Corey Dillon was Adrian Peterson before Adrian Peterson imo. He showed what he could do once he had a qb. He ran for over 1600 yards and he wasn't even in his prime anymore.

James Brooks wouldn't have never gotten a chance to show off his receiving skills with the qbs Dillon had. The majority of Dillons years they didn't even have good wrs. Then they had people like Akili Smith, Gus Ferotte, Scott Mitchell, throwing the ball. Teams would have keyed on Brooks and took both the running and passing game away from him because there was no other threat for the defense to worry about.

I love it! The Bengals lately seem to be much better when people think they will be horrible. The defense should be even better this year. Especially having Burfict to start year. The defense is so much better with him in. He had over 101 tackles in just 11 games last year. Offensively they should be better as long as they stay healthy. It comes down to the play of the young tackles. However while they may not be great, I think the...

Agreed! I really like the young talent on the team. As much as people hate on the Bengals. I think the Bengals over the last 7 years have done a good job at trying to win now, but also still refreshing with younger players. This way they don't have to go through a full rebuild blow it up mode like the reds. Now will they win a playoff game. Who knows I won't predict that lol, but I do think they will be back in the playoffs this year. I like...

Now i do agree with you on Dalton still has time, while Palmer is about done. To put things in perspective though. When Palmer had a good defense to go along with talent on offense in Arizona, He has won a playoff game and made the NFC championship. Dalton has had both most of his career with a good defense and talented offense but still nothing. Not to mention playing bad in big moments against good teams prime time or playoffs. Which by...

Which injury are you referring to? You would be wrong if you say the knee? I always hate when people say the knee because that's not true. Just look at the very next season just 9 months after that injury. His numbers were very similar to what they were before the injury. Now if you want to say the elbow injury in 2008, I agree. That injury effected him more than the knee. As for winning percentage and all that. My argument is the same as it...

Very true but most of those other 30 year olds were playing baseball their whole life still up to that age. So that makes sense to cut any other 30 year old for that. For him to have not played baseball in over 10 years, and to be able to do this is impressive. Most people after not playing baseball since high school have had transitioned to competitive slow pitch softball tournaments like me lol not minor league baseball.

To be fair Green most likely would have been a first team all pro last year until his injury. He was on pace for 1800 yards last year.

Is Scooter on contract long? He kind of reminds of BP. In the fact they got him and once he got his chance to play some games with the reds, he just kept performing and showed he should be the everyday starter. More so than what they probably expected. Same thing when they got BP and how he performed when he got his first chances with the reds. Everytime this guy plays this year he seems to be contributing in some way.

Agreed and the reds panicked. Most likely could have waited until even the trade dead line of that year then to trade him. Yankees didn't give up to much for him. Then were able to trade him themselves for a better return than what they gave up. Now have him back.

Seeing these prospects do so well for the Yankees. Makes me really wonder why the reds settled for what they got in the trade for Chapman. One of best closers in baseball and didn't have to give up really any of their top guys for him.

Well I would say no. I doubt a pitcher would want to be known as the pitcher who can't get Tebow out. Doesn't exactly speed up a pitchers career path if they can't get Tebow out.

He was the best freshman lineman I ever seen last year. Big body, strong, great hand placement, great feet and technique. His first step off the line on run plays is unbelievable. He is going to be a stud the next three years imo.

Fair enough. I think it's a lot easier to have fond memories of a very good player when a team is good. Than it is to have fond memories of a very good player on horrible teams. Which by the way if we wanted to know how Dillon could have done with a good qb, and other weapons on offense. Just look at his first season in New England at the age of 30 when he was about out of his prime. As great as he was with the Bengals. He had his best year...

So basically age matters? So all pitchers who are older than Judge for the Yankees should be able to get him out, since they are older? I am no Tebow fan at all. In fact never liked him. However you definitely are reaching with your reasoning right now. Especially when those 21 and 22 year old kids he's hitting off of never took like an 8 year break from baseball like him.

Which was who? I would say if that player was doing good enough to deserve to be there. That person is still there. I bet the person who got let go for him was already on the fringe of being let go and didn't deserve to be there anymore.

Imo if Corey Dillon played on Bengals teams that were good, that people would have him be number 1 and it not even be close. As great as Brooks was running and catching. He also played with good qbs. He had a qb who was a mvp one year. Teams couldn't just key on him. On the other hand Dillon was the guy all teams keyed on, and he still was great. He broke the rushing record against the number 1 rush defense, and his qb only completing 2 passes....

Even if he does realize it, why would it matter? Would you care if someone told you that you could get paid to play baseball but it's just for them to make money off you? In his eyes even if he knows, it gives him a chance to play and try to get better.

I don't think they should shorten the games. I do think shortening the season would create more interest. Or make the first half of the season meaningful. Allow teams who are in first place at the all star break clinch a playoff spot. This creates more interest for the first half of the year. Plus could keep fans interested still for who's teams may have had a bad first half because their team could still make it by winning the division the...

I feel like for the sake of boxing. They should announce the score of each round after each round ends. Allow both boxers, the crowd, and tv audience to know exactly what the scores are as it happens. I think it would make it more exciting because if a boxer knows for a fact they are losing on the actual judges score cards. They would come out even harder. Plus saves any surprises like tonight and also gets rid of the whole fights are...

I will say this is probably the first and only time he has ever actually coach one of his own kids. So I do think there is a better chance of him staying for that reason.

Not when that player makes it clear they are leaving. Then that player doesn't have the power. If so George would be with the Cavs now with a chance for a title, or got his wish to be a Laker.
