It may change the line of thinking for some players now for Cal to. Cal can say yeah you could leave right now, or you could come back and end up as one of the best players in the country and improve your draft position even more. Hagans and Herro are two of those guys. To where he may be able to point to how much it helped Washington.

At the end of the day I still dont think it's as open as people say. I think it's still Cooper or CovCath who wins it. The door is slightly open now for other teams compared to the last few years, but I dont think it is as open as some may be saying right now.

I would not be surprised to see Beechwood not even make the region. Even though they beat them just a week ago. Holy Cross will be a difficult first round district game for them.

Still amazing the difference in a lost and a win on these threads. It doesnt even matter if they beat the number 1 team by 17, there still isnt many people on here saying much. But if they would have lost by 17, it would be 3 pages by now. How Cal sucks, cant win without elite one and done talent, etc.

Why exactly should it matter what team they played for as you seem to state? Should Anthony Davis not be considered one of the best players in the NBA, since the quality of his team isnt that good? You by all means have the right to talk up the girl you think should be considered. Nothing wrong with that, and definitely support that! However, there is also no reason to then also go on and try to down grade a high school girl, because you are...

The td catch he had against the Ravens where he jumped over the guy and wrestled the ball away from the DB and holding on to it still. Gives me some confidence that maybe he can be more than what he has shown. Or maybe it was just a lucky play lol.

I would say more out played Hagans than Quickley. When Quickley basically played pg all first half with Hagans in foul trouble. Their pg didnt do much at all. Second half Hagans was back in for most of it and then he got going. Hagans definitely has struggled a little bit recently. Quickley was the better of the two yesterday.

That very well may be true. However having a coach who might try to instill confidence in him may help. Rather than basically never playing him again after a fumble on his first touch his rookie season. Either way this is a make or break year for Ross.

I said a few years ago that he was starting to become like Chad Ocho Cinco was his last few years. The only difference is he at least has still produced, even while having all his antics. Eventually the production will fall, and he will quickly find himself out of the league, because it will no longer be worth all the other stuff.

No thanks. He was already losing a step and not producing at the same level anymore. Now that he is coming off an very severe injury, it's just not worth it. Let Zac Taylor see if he can get anything out of John Ross first.

Ouch because it should have been a higher pick? Or Ouch because the Broncos gave up to much to get a guy who will get cut if not traded?

As I said earlier this year. Your whole Cal can only win with mega stars, is mute and proven wrong already. The 2011 and 2014 teams showed that. This years team imo will show that too.

If they beat Tennesse twice their ceiling is a 1 seed. As of right now the SEC is going to have a one seed. While UK lost last night, so did Michigan to a bad Penn State team. As it is looking the one seeds will be Duke, Gonzaga, Virginia, and probably an SEC team. Which if UK beats Tennesee twice, then UK would most likely get the nod over Tennessee. Now losing last night did hurt, because now they have to sweep Tennesee. If they win last...

Agreed he is starting to become very turnover prone. UK was better with Quickley at the pg spot last night. Maybe sitting him some more would allow him to relax and see the adjustments teams have made to him, and then get him fixed before the tournament starts.

I agree I would like to see him play more. However, with Montgomery starting to play much better recently. Where is his minutes suppose to come from though? Obviously you want Washington on the floor as much as possible. With Montgomery playing better, he now gets the minutes when Reid is out or Washington needs a break. At this moment, with UK missing on some front court guys next year. It would be better for Richard's to stick it out and...

What's funny is the Cats missed 7. With 4 of those misses coming from Keldon Johnson. Yet Keldon was able to hit both free throws at the end to tie it.

I always find it interesting how people bring up Herros defense. When his defense is not that bad. Yet people never mention Keldon Johnsons defense. Keldon Johnson gets beat off the dribble more than anyone on the team. Hence, why if you notice Johnson usually gets yanked by Cal a lot more from games than Herro. Johnson last night was the big reason why LSU scored. Johnson allowed his guy to drive straight to the hoop. Also you said 2 guards...

I get what you are saying. However last night is a bad example to use to prove your point of putting him back in with 2 fouls in the 1st half. There was zero reason to put him back in during the first half. UK in the first half was playing good without him. Quickley actually looked better on defense than Hagans in this one, even before Hagans got 2 fouls. UK had a 8 point lead with Quickley playing most of first half. If UK played bad or was...

Agreed. That is why I said UK had to get to a 1 seed and pass up Virginia too. The lost tonight definitely doesnt help that cause. Even thought the committee said it wouldnt stop them from doing it. I just dont see then doing that to a 1 seed, making them possibly play a 2 seeded UK team in Louisville. I hope that happens, but I dont see it happening either.

The guy who tipped it in wasnt even the trail guy. Montgomery was on him on the weak side, and left him to try to block the shot. Which Keldon Johnson got beat, so he had to come over to help out. Washington also left his guy to try to help out. So honestly the biggest problem was Keldon Johnson getting beat. It set everything else in motion.

Is there a pic showing that. I watched the reply 3 times since you said that. Someone does his the net while swinging their arm forward to try to block the shot. Doesnt look like at all, a hand goes through the rim. You may have seen a replay that shows it, so I'm not doubting you. I just have not seen it yet, if so.

That's weird that you would post a video that contradicts your original statement. That the players just stood around and watched. Your video shows guys doing anything but standing around. In fact it shows 3 guys trying to block a shot, not just standing around watching as you originally stated.

No argument here that he shouldn't have shot it. It may have been drawn up for him. However, with 9 seconds left. No reason to force it, since they defended him good. There definitely is about 2 or 3 shots a game he takes that are not smart, that he shouldn't take. No argument there.

Depends on the Tennessee games. They sweep Tennessee. Then they still probably get the one seed over Tennessee.

No he doesnt consistently miss big threes. As i said if you have watched the games, especially the last month. He has been one of the ones who has made the big shots when needed. With that said he does take about 2 or 3 bad shots a game. The 1 on 2 you mentioned was a bad shot. There is a difference between taking bad shots, and missing big shots as you stated. He has been one of the better ones at making big shots when they need it. He...

Well before that play was actually two made free throws by Johnson. While Herro shot was dumb, it didnt hurt because UK rebounded the ball and tied up the game on that same series, so his shot was mute.

Agreed. He definitely wasnt the same defensive player as usual tonight. Cal honestly probably should have went with Quickley more in the second half like in the first half. Quickley did a much better job tonight containing the other pg and not letting him even in the lane.
