Well you are wrong. Voice of Reason is correct. You can continue to ignore the fact that the Bengals and even Mike Brown has done things much better since Marvin has been here. In fact a lot better than many teams who have had true GMs during this time. Still not perfect because they kept bringing Marvin back. But how they do things these days are a lot better. He is completely right though if they go back to the coach in waiting thing. Then...

Agreed. I think Quickley will be more of the man this year and Hagans will be next year.

Wasnt Hagans rated the number one PG in his class before he reclassified to this year. I think its been 2 games and people are reading way to much into it. At this point last year no one though Shai Alexander would be what he became.

Hasnt that been the style with most of his teams? 2010 if they didnt score off the break. Then it usually went through Cousins down low once in the half court. Same with Terrance Jones and Harrelson in 2011. Davis and Jones 2012. 2013 with Noel. 2014 with Julius Randel. 2015 Towns. I feel like only the last 2 seasons were seasons where they really didnt work through the post, since they haven't really had a player who can play like that.

Probably not. People always remember 2015, but Hues first year as OC Dalton had one of his worst years as a qb in 2014. It seems 2015 with Dalton is more of the exception than the rule. Quite honestly Dalton not getting to finish 2015 honestly helps Dalton. The Bengals had just lost 2 or 3 before he got hurt. Both games on prime time against the Texans and Cardinals. So if Dalton doesnt get hurt that Steelers game and they end up losing....

What do you mean finally get a win? You act like they haven't won in awhile. When in reality they are 5 and 4 and in honestly still great shape for the playoffs. The Bengals usually always do well against the Ravens. So even with the Bengals playing horrible last week. They should be fine against the Ravens.

Well its pretty well known that Mike Brown doesn't like paying guys money who aren't even here. Which is why they usually always let people play out their contracts, coaches too. I would have to assume Marvin has had some more say in it recently. First with Zampese last year, and now this. Quite honestly Paul Alexander is probably even still here if Mike Brown had his way. So I have to think Marvin had a big say in it. Marvin seems to be the...

If Marvin wants to win. He has to be the head coach and not be the nice guy and make that tough decision to fire Austin tonight. Marvin needs to then take over the defense and see what happens.

I'm to the point where I believe they may need a whole new fresh start after this year. Fire Marvin. Try to trade Dalton and Green. The new coach will get more draft picks, and the team will have extra money to sure up the o line and defense more with the money saved from not having Dalton and Greens contracts. Extend Driskell on a small 3 year deal and let him start next year. If he does good awesome, you got him on the cheap. If he sucks, then...

Jesse Bates is rated as a top 5 safety in the NFL this season. Other than that I agree. However this is basically the same defense as last year, and they werent anywhere near this bad, besides for 2 games at the end of the year last year. The scheme for this new DC is horrible.

Watching this team against the Chiefs and Saints. You would have to wonder how in the world have they won 5 games and was a minute away from beating the Steelers. The offense isnt doint much, but this defense is literally horrible and on pace to be the worst defense in NFL history. Either Pauly G was better than we thought and made some of our defensive players look better than they really are. Because the defense was suppose to be the...

They were second in their conference last year to Loyola. They return everyone from last year. So I agree they will be fighting with Loyola to see who wins the conference and makes the big dance.

Hard to say he was a no show against Duke. Yes his shots didnt fall but he also led the team with 9 rebounds that day and also led in assists with 5. Now this game not much at all. His shots will eventually fall. He is only taking on average 6 shots a game. Once he starts seeing them fall, he will shoot more and be the scorer we know he can be.

It also helps when Michigan State literally hands OSU the game by fumbling the ball in the end zone that OSU recovered for a td to go up 10. Then the very next position fumbling a single option pitch that OSU recovered for a short field for more points. Neither of those were forced by the defense. It was MSU shooting themselves in the foot. At the end of the day though sometimes you need some luck to get things jump started again.

I'm sorry it's kind of funny when you listed a bunch of calls you didnt like that went against Highlands. Then turn around and say but the ref did get it right when it was a penalty on Anderson County. I'm not saying you are wrong because I didn't see it. I just found it funny.

This game scares me with Wimbush at QB. FSU has nothing to lose, and everything to gain because a lost to FSU ends Notre Dame's playoff hopes. I'm guessing Notre Dame wins a close one, because the offense will struggle. Which will give the Notre Dame haters some ammo to say see this team has no business being in the playoff discussion by barely beating a bad FSU team. However IMO that is how much of a difference there is with this team with...

Is he nationally a hot commodity right now? Or is most of the buzz around him more just around this year, and his UL connection? Maybe I just haven't heard much yet, but I haven't heard him as a national hot commodity yet? I have only heard him as a hot commodity for UL.

That's just crazy! If NFL football players were jealous of the money NBA players started making a few years ago, I can't imagine how they feel about this. How long before Lebron see's this and work's it out to where there is no salary cap in the NBA. This way NBA stars can get these types of contracts!

Honestly when you think back to all of Cal's teams at UK. Usually it takes until about the conference season and struggling in January to get the players to see what they are doing doesn't work, and need to buy in to what Coach Cal wants. Which usually leads to them playing their best come March. So usually it takes losing those conference games to get their attention on how to play. With taking a pure butt whopping on national tv. This is...

In the starting lineup for the game, there was only one player who started for UK last year. So while they may have experience, they don't have chemistry.

It was a butt whopping no doubt. 2015 UK put a butt whopping on Kansas in this same game. Kansas ended up being a 2 seed that year. So yeah not hard to see UK getting a one seed. With UK's schedule they have plenty of opportunity to have a great resume with big wins to get that one seed.

Here is the thing with all of that. It seems like many are down playing the field conditions. Some Highlands fans have now even said it is an advantage for them not Anderson County. Which may be true, we will find out tonight. However I can almost guarntee if Anderson County pulls off what people say is an upset. That there will be plenty of people saying well obviously the field conditions helped Anderson County. So it's all good and great...

In college football is their a rule if a team declares a player out before the game, that they can't change that during the game? Meaning even though Notre Dame says he isn't going to play this game. Can they dress him still, and play him in case of an emergency? Meaning if he is splitting reps in practice this week. I wouldn't be surprised if they still dress him, and if the game is a struggle and in doubt in the second half. I wouldn't be...
