Justin Schlarman has been starting varsity since he was a freshman. He has had a great career. So it's only right that the next player that started as a freshman is now Jeremiah Lee, and they took up for the winning td.

The game has but yet their style consistently makes them a top 4 team every year. So they are doing something right, even if it's not as fun to watch as other teams.

Congrats to Ludlow on securing the 2 seed and getting I believe their second ever home playoff game.

Freshman qb for Cooper, Jeremiah Lee had a rushing td and 2 passing tds to senior Justin Schlarman. The last one being a 50 yard td on a great call down the middle with a minute left to tie it up Then junior female kicker I believe her name is Tori Neltner made the game winning extra point to make it 21 to 20. Conner had one last shot at the end but ended up getting stopped. It was a great fun game to watch. These games always seem to come...

I didn't watch the unlv game the others i seen most of them because my best friends are osu fans. With that said while they have looked good. I have no idea where you can say they look like the most complete team in the country. They look like a typical good team beating bad teams. I just find it funny no Matter how you say it. That in a post where you are putting down who Bama has played, but then just even saying but Osu has looked like the...

No I read what you said. You didn't say you didn't trust them, you said no one would trust them. While in your opinion they looked like the most complete team while in turn then shooting down how good Bama may be because who they played. While OSU in that 5 game stretch you talked about played army, unlv, rutgers, Maryland, Nebraska lol. It's just funny that you would shoot down one team for who they played. Yet turn around and say OSU has...

I'm sorry but this post is pretty funny. You talk a lot about how Bama hasn't played anybody so can't say they are a great team. Yet in the same paragraph you say OSU has looked like the most complete team in the country by beating the likes of army, unlv, Rutgers, Maryland, and Nebraska. That's funny stuff lol.

I think it's hard to say those teams didn't deserve to be in the playoff last year. Especially Penn State who won the big 10. Especially considering a horrible early season lost didn't keep Ohio State out of the playoffs a few years ago when they lost to a bad Virginia Tech team. Osu probably didn't deserve to be in it at all because of that horrible lost. However just goes to show anything can happen if you are given that chance to play in the...

Well most of the small schools play actual froshmore. Where it is basically a younger jv team. Which is what NCC is this year. They are a talented group though.

I'm pretty sure their frosh team was basically a JV team with the amount of sophomores I heard they played. However they definitely are good.

Before you get all high and mighty. Yes, Beechwood is technically 1A based on numbers from 3 years ago when they did realignment. Doesn't mean they are still truly a 1A school anymore. They were already the biggest 1A team 3 years ago, and from my understanding their enrollment definitely has gone up since then. I would venture to say that come next realignment they definitely will be 2A and wont even be in the bottom 10 of enrollment in 2A. So...

Agreed. As I mentioned basically the only times the Bengals have beat the Steelers in the Dalton era is when the Bengals win like 16 to 13. Even when the years the Bengals offense is good, they struggle to score against the Steelers defense. So it's hard to see the Bengals scoring enough unless defense or special teams gets a score.

Please state how Burfict is not one of the best linebackers in the league. I'm just curious to hear your opinion on this.

I would have Barker ahead of Morgan. Both were great qbs. I think some people forget how good Barker was in High School based off him not doing much in college so far. He imo had talent around but not as much talent as Morgan had around him, and still put up amazing numbers and led the team.

I initially in the update thread defended Mitchell because I thought he was tripped and pushed into Smith. However after seeing the replay a few more times I now do think that was very cheap. Yes his teammate gave him a little push. However Mitchell basically turned his body after the push and gave a straight out dive right into Smith.

Yep. LeBron closing out on him made him try to pump fake first. He should have just shot it in rhythm at first. Oh well. That was a fun game.

I think they would at least look a little better than recent teams nky teams against Trinity. But overall Trinity wouldn't ever be in real danger of losing.

Which is great I'm glad Calpreps rates them as such. However I don't think Covcath beats Moeller. Moeller is a team who just beat the second rated team in Ohio is St. Ignitious 41 to 20. Im also not sure if Covcath beats either of the Indiana teams Trinity beat. Plus the same with St. X in Louisville and even Male. Trinity is use to basically top teams every week, except when they have to play their lower district ranked teams. These...

No Covcath fan or NKy fan is saying it would be close, because they seem afraid to actually say those words. But a lot of people seem to be applying it.

CovCath is a great team this year. However every single time we feel like we have a great team in NKY that we feel maybe could compete with Trinity. When they get their chance, it ends up not being a game at all. So hard for me to say CovCath would have a shot against them. It kind of gets back to what I said in the Ludlow vs Beechwood thread. While CovCath definitely has played a solid schedule, their schedule still wasn't as tough as what...

I like Notre Dame chances. They seem like a better team this year. However I don't want to get to excited until I see them actually win the game. They should have beat Georgia but blew it at the end. They are like 2 and 8 in games decided by 7 or less the last 2 years. So they have to prove they can win these type of games.

It comes down to defense. I think only once has Dalton beaten the Steelers when he scored 17 or more. Even in the few wins we have had with Dalton against the Steelers. The offenses has only scored 16 or less against the Steelers defense. Dalton and the offense always struggle against the Steelers. So the defense needs to keep the Steelers to 17 or less for the Bengals to even have a shot imo.

Brett Favre probably has given Green Bay a call and told them he has been working out with High School receivers again and is ready to go.

Completely agree to disagree. Also it wasn't a back shoulder throw. Brown had his guy beat BY 2 steps. Big Ben actually just made a poor throw and should have been picked. Brown did a great job realizing it right away. The majority of receivers do not make that play imo. Majority end up taking an extra step up field and end up getting drilled by the safety while going for the deflection and then falling incomplete with none of us ever...

He was running full speed. Ball is thrown behind him, so he already is having to change his body position. Then it's tipped in the air, so now he has to get his eyes and hands back to following the ball, while also making sure he stops completely because if he takes a half more step forward the safety destroys him. So for him to run full speed, change his body position, come to a complete stop, have great enough hand eye coordinator to still...

Have to love when people who aren't at practice or watching film with them. Assume that they know what a team was doing or game planned for. Or what they should have done different. When the simple reality of it is maybe just one team executed better than the other. Everything always looks great when it's executed well. When a play could look horrible though if its not executed. When in reality it could be just one guy not doing their job on a...
