CovCath is a great team this year. However every single time we feel like we have a great team in NKY that we feel maybe could compete with Trinity. When they get their chance, it ends up not being a game at all. So hard for me to say CovCath would have a shot against them. It kind of gets back to what I said in the Ludlow vs Beechwood thread. While CovCath definitely has played a solid schedule, their schedule still wasn't as tough as what...

I like Notre Dame chances. They seem like a better team this year. However I don't want to get to excited until I see them actually win the game. They should have beat Georgia but blew it at the end. They are like 2 and 8 in games decided by 7 or less the last 2 years. So they have to prove they can win these type of games.

It comes down to defense. I think only once has Dalton beaten the Steelers when he scored 17 or more. Even in the few wins we have had with Dalton against the Steelers. The offenses has only scored 16 or less against the Steelers defense. Dalton and the offense always struggle against the Steelers. So the defense needs to keep the Steelers to 17 or less for the Bengals to even have a shot imo.

Brett Favre probably has given Green Bay a call and told them he has been working out with High School receivers again and is ready to go.

Completely agree to disagree. Also it wasn't a back shoulder throw. Brown had his guy beat BY 2 steps. Big Ben actually just made a poor throw and should have been picked. Brown did a great job realizing it right away. The majority of receivers do not make that play imo. Majority end up taking an extra step up field and end up getting drilled by the safety while going for the deflection and then falling incomplete with none of us ever...

He was running full speed. Ball is thrown behind him, so he already is having to change his body position. Then it's tipped in the air, so now he has to get his eyes and hands back to following the ball, while also making sure he stops completely because if he takes a half more step forward the safety destroys him. So for him to run full speed, change his body position, come to a complete stop, have great enough hand eye coordinator to still...

Have to love when people who aren't at practice or watching film with them. Assume that they know what a team was doing or game planned for. Or what they should have done different. When the simple reality of it is maybe just one team executed better than the other. Everything always looks great when it's executed well. When a play could look horrible though if its not executed. When in reality it could be just one guy not doing their job on a...

I don't think it's an automatic first down on pass interference right now either.

Now even though i do think he would be on a team as at least a backup if it wasn't for all the attention he would bring. I do think it's silly for him to say he was a top tier qb. He definitely is not a top tier qb. He is better than a lot of backups on teams though. However not worth all the national attention a backup qb would bring to the team.

You make it sound like I said he was bad. I even said he has had a good career. He was a stud in high school and as our famous SK poster said he got legit looks from D1 schools. All I said was I thought he probably would excel even more at Thomas More. Doesn't mean I think he was bad. I honestly probably had to high of expectations for him. I thought he could come in and dominate at the D3 level similar to what Moss did for the girls basketball...

Bengals seem to do better in Pittsburgh than they do in Cincy. Sadly it doesn't matter where we play because the Steelers own us, just like they do the Chiefs.

Antonio Brown continuing on his path that Ocho Cinco went on. Big Ben and Brown not being on the same page again leading to another Big Ben Interception.

An Sec team, a Big 10 team and Clemson if they win out will all make the playoffs. It will be interesting to see who the other playoff team will be. The big 12 needs to have TCU go undefeated or else the big 12 gets left out again imo. The Pac 12 won't have anyone with a shot unless USC wins out. So unless Notre Dame wins out I think we will see either 2 sec or 2 big 10 teams make it.

I hate this for Rodgers. But also hate it for the Bengals. They had to play Green Bay with Rodgers. Pittsburgh and Baltimore still has to play Green Bay and now it should be easy wins for them.

Once again he struggles when facing an undefeated opponent. With the Bears leading the Ravens, the Bengals really need to make sure they don't lose this week.

Eh. Ryle and Simon Kenton are good but not great teams this year. It should be a good game. Turnovers will decide that one.

I look at his play in some of their big games and he hasn't quite performed. Especially with the hype we have heard over the last 7 years. Not saying he has been bad, he has been good. Just not as good as I thought he would do at a D3 school.

No doubt Ludlow is a very good team and I still stand by my comment that this is the best Ludlow team since 1999. This is one of the best teams Ludlow has ever had. My comments about the schedules was not because I think Ludlow should have scheduled tougher. I think it was a very good 1A schedule actually. I was just pointing out that this is the best offense and defense Ludlow faced this year. While Beechwood has faced better offenses and...

It was what I was afraid of. For Ludlow this is the best offense and defense they have faced. However for Beechwood they have seen better offensive and defenses. So I am sure this was a big shock to the Panthers in the level of competition. If Ludlow sees them again they will at least know more on exactly what they are up against and the level of play they need to play at to compete. So if they see them again I do think it would be at least...

It's the same concept as a normal screen pass. Lineman can be down field on screens as long as the back catches it behind the line.

Yes lineman can be down field as long as the pass it behind the line of scrimmage. Which is why it got overturned. One thing I have never seen before was a play I believe in the 3rd quarter. Cooper threw a simple 5 yard hitch on the sideline on 4th down. The Ref on the sideline which was 2 yards from the play spotted the ball to where it would be a first down. However the ref all the way on the other sideline came running over and overruled...
